Pub to watch tonights game?
Hey guys and gals, I am looking for a decent pub to catch tonights game with a couple buddies. Preferably non smoking, quality TV's and some decent food.
As for location, doesn't really matter we are coming from a couple different quadrants of the city.
Open to suggestions...
(except for Boston Pizza... )
Thanks!

There's always Schanks (North or South), Flames Central and Ranchmans if you want big screens.

Flames Central is Great... though the food MIGHT be a little pricey.

Flames Central does sound good, although I would rather not fight with downtown rush hour or pay for parking... Game starts at 5:00.

On the corner of 14th street and Northmount dr. NW is the Riverstone. A personal favorite of mine.

....if the security guard doesn't catch you, he is a hawk all day long from noon til 9pm. He actually calls City Parking guys to come ticket people several times a day.

Harry's Pub in Crowfoot just got redone. Its a small little place but has a lot of big screens since they redid it.

I'm right in Hawkwood and have never been in there. Schanks North really isn't the greatest place to watch a game - bad service, mediocore food, TV screens are huge, but grainy.
Is Harry's much better? Is the food any good?

I'm immune! Thanks Wildwood!
I recommend 1410 on 17 ave, right by the McDicks, smaller place but good beer selection, decent menu, good looking waitresses and there are always lots of hot girls there too. If that's your thing.

Yes - one girl looks like a young Rebecca DeMornay.
I really like my local - Pete's Peanut Pub - west of Westhills.
http://www.petespub.ca/
Pete’s Peanut Pub has done some major renovations and your neighborhood SPORTS PUB now has so much more for you to enjoy! We have multiple video feeds and 20 TV’s, including the 2 12’ projection screens that can split to 4 different shows. This is a unique system here in Calgary!! What that means to you is you will always have a great seat to watch your favorite sports! If you want NFL, NHL, CFL, NCAA, Golf or Baseball, we have it here! We also have all the Rugby and Soccer games!

I don't mind Pete's Pub, but I didn't find it the best place to watch a game.
I go to Block Sixteen which on 16 Ave and 14th street.
Good food, hot waitress' and a big screen to watch. I don't want to say its classier but they don't have hoser booze and it is a nice place. But its always a fun place to watch
