When I was looking online this is kinda how it went
Get a smile or message
If there is a picture
1. Is she decent looking and does she look athletic?
2. if athletic/attractive, move to lame story, then check height, body description and age.
3. if no, delete smile/mail message etc.
If no picture
1. Go straight to age/height/body type and interests
2. If younger than me, above 5'4" and has checked fit/thin and sounds like she'd be an athlete, I'll read lame story
3. If my age, older - really scrutinize the other stats to see if they'd fit the "athletic" profile.
4. If box is checked average, or anything else, I'd just delete.
1. The description. If it talked about what a strong willed person I am, how I'm motivated, have goals, life is about this... actually I don't know what else it saw cause it's usually deleted by then. You've already bored me and I don't see it getting any better.
2. The description. If it's somewhat funny, they say they're into sports, I laugh while reading it - they make some joke and don't take themselves really seriously I'll probably have my interests raised and see if I can take it somewhere.

Nigella is amazing because of how they shoot her. She was on Christine Cushing Live once and didn't have her usual cinematography team. The difference was frightening.

To me attraction is a pretty primal thing as a man your goal in life (biologically speaking) is reproduce and you don’t want to pass on your seed too someone who looks un-healthy it works the same for women

To add my 2 cents to the derailment here... I think Tara Reid was a toothpick before... why in the hell would she get lipo? She was gross before and even worse now. It's sad that in the US (and probably Canada), people are so hung up about being skinny and fashionable... image is everything. What is this? High school? I mean, I can sort of understand the public's obsession with being thin, because I think it's 8 of 10 Americans are overweight. They're obsessed because they want to be thinner. But, some people, especially actresses and models go way too far.
Now, I'm also one of those people that does not find toothpicks attractive. This may sound shallow too, but you weigh less than 120, I'm not going there... unless you are like 5'0" or less. I like curves, I don't mind a "few" extra pounds, but I also don't want someone like that picture posted above. Weight is not the best way to set a range, but I'd say for me, if you are in my desired height range (5'2" to 5'9"), the desired weight range would be (125-165). That's a far cry from a toothpick. Hell, my current girlfriend is around 152 at 5'5". A lot of you might think that's high? But you know what? She's got killer curves and actually possesses a butt... which suprisingly few women do.
What exactly does curvy mean? Think Kate Winslett in Titanic.
As for dating sites, just about everyone lies on those. Meeting people in the real world is much safer.

I guess she realized that there is no such thing as spot-reduction in the 'real' world....and since she was too lazy to better define her abs, or whatever she wanted to define....I bet she thought liposuction was the easiest way to go.
dumb....

My guess is that she has an actual surgical addiction, and it doesn't matter if its good or bad. In fact, in her case she probably doesn't mind if its badly done because she gets another round of surgery for her.
Its an actual condition and a fairly scary one at that.
She might really be sick.

Very true, though I guess they're hoping their other qualities will shine through (kind of like doing whatever it takes to get the interview).
Mind you people play these dumb games even when they're dating; doing all kinds of things to present themselves as someone better than they really are, lying, hiding their flaws, playing mind games, etc...
It's so much easier just to be polite and honest.

I find it more attractive to meet someone who's comfortable with themselves, rather than feeling the need to hide who they are either physically or personally. I've met a couple of wierdos from dating sites, but also a couple of nice people.
Also, one tip do not go out with anyone who's wearing a hockey jersey in their main pic (I found out the hard way that it's a way to cover up 70-100+ extra pounds. Not good)

Exactly Photon. Me and a friend were having this same debate but a few weeks ago and we both pretty much settled on that conclusion. The only rational explantion for this is that these women think, despite decieving the guy to meet them, their amazing personality and sense of humour will make said guy not care about the donkey face he is looking at.
I am not all about looks, but I am definatley all about honesty and any women who would do something like that wouldnt have a chance with me, looks or personality not withstanding.
