David Justice is a moron! First he cheats on Halle Berry ending their relationship years ago and now his career won't be looked at as the same after he was on roids.
Some of these are obvious like Mo Vaugh and Roger Clemens. Some I had no idea they were on roids like Chuck Knoblauch.

He has been that big since he was in highschool meaning he would have had to start using them in junior high.
I am biased because he is my favorite player but I doubt that Pujols used them. If size is the only factor than there are plenty of guys the same size or bigger that Pujols who must be slam dunks as well.
I think it isn't so much size but the huge growth that happened to guys like Bonds. Especially later in life. As I mentioned earlier this never occured with Albert.

Mitchell is extremely well spoken answering questions from reporters. I'm very impressed.
Reporters are repeatedly trying to turn the focus to Bonds... Mitchell is doing a good job keeping the scope on all of baseball.

I find it interesting that there's names on the lists posted here that I'm scratching my head trying to figure out who the heck they are. I mean, you're busted, and you weren't good enough to make an impact, even with performance inhancers. Horrible.
Guys like Jack Cust, Tim Laker, Josias Manzanillo. I'm not into the game as much to know who these guys are, but they ain't all stars. I'm sure of that.

Guys like Cust and Laker i'm sure did them just to make the majors. They were in the minors for awhile and I think that is the only way they could have made the majors. To them it was either take the roids or stay in the minors. Cust made the Diamondbacks after he took the roids. Obviously I think it's wrong but I think that was there methodology.

This is going to be HUGE news in the US.
Is it going to lead to changes in pro sports? There is a real opportunity here to go further and clean it all up.

Well I do owe Pujols and his fans an appology, he is not on the list therefore there is no proof of him using - my sincere appologies!

Well everyone's methodology was to gain an edge over anyone else of comparable talent be it Tim Laker, or Barry Bonds. Difference was one guy had HOF talent and credentials before, the other was likely a life time minor leaguer. Everyone involved in this did so to gain an edge. They're all cheaters in the end.

Oh I definately agree. I was just explaining to Rob why Cust/Laker did it even though they weren't good ball players like Bonds, Clemens, etc. In the end I don't think one player should be singled out, I think all of the cheaters should be singled out. They are all cheaters.

T5,
Doesn't matter, good to blow the doors off this with detailed evidence for everyone to see, and those players will be forever linked.
To see how determental it could be, look what happened to Knoblauch. Starting taking the stuff when he hit the Yankees, the same time he starting making errors, couldn't hit and turned into a huge bust for the Yanks after paying huge to pull him from the Twins.
Zaun, very surprised at.
All those years ago, remember the outrage and heat that Canseco stirred up and took with his comments and his book..but was generally dismissed as being a kook and looking to sell an extra book..no way could all those players be taking them and not get caught? Pretty much looks like he was bang on with his statements.
And somewhere Dick Pound (sure, he goes over the top sometimes, but its by choice, as someone has to be as outspoken to get the point across...)
is also feeling a vindicated as well.

I'm reading through the introduction - fascinating.
MLB PA has been really uncooperative. Mitchell sent a memo to every active player asking for relevant info - NOT ONE player answered.

Who here bets that when they ask Roger Clemens about it he says:
"I'm not here to talk about the past, I'm here to be positive on the subject."

Jack Cust was the prototypical AAAA player. Too good for AAA not good enough for the majors. For like 8-10 years he put up huge numbers in AAA but could never stick int he majors. This past year he finally found a spot with Oakland though and was likely to be their DH this upcoming year. He was also a stud prospect when younger and expected to be a big star.
It is easy to see why he would be attracted to taking roids knowing how close he was to being as good as people had always told him he was.
There was a good story on him in SI a few months ago and the guy is still treated as a god in his hometown. I am sure it isn't easy to come home and hear all the questions about how you aren't in the majors yet, when everyone expected you to be putting up Bonds type numbers by now.

No wonder players didn't want to play in Canada. They were paying bullpen catchers and other minor staff guys to carry bags across the border. That would get expensive if you had to pay more than a couple times a year.

Not me, with all the personal demons Zaun battled through his career, I'm not shocked he took Roids while playing for the royals.
After he cleaned up his life a couple years ago, I'd be surprised if he took them then.
In a way you gotta feel sorry for a guy who tries to escape his past, but stuff like this comes back and bites him a couple years after changing his life around.

Hey im happy this happened (regardless of the outcome) just to wipe the smugness off the players union. Baseball needs to purge anyone and everyone associated with drugs to get any sort of respect back in the eyes of many. I just don't think they have the balls to do it.
