In defence of Judd Apatow, he hasn't directed any of the Will Ferrell movies, he's only the producer and its only been for a couple of Ferrel's movies(Anchorman, Talladega)

But, I agree, I am sooooo sick of Ferrel. Not funny.

The flicks that Apatow has directed are f'n awesome, 40 year old and knocked up were great.

I enjoyed National Treasure the first time and it strikes me that it will be an atypical sequel -- sounds like a DVD rental. As for Wil Ferrell I would have said before seeing Stranger than Fiction that I had seen enough of his brand of movies. A departure for him and I enjoyed it. Helped that there were some great actors in the movie but he held up his end.

Semi-related to I am Legend coming out this weekend, does anyone know if the Dark Knight preview that is supposed to be attached to the Imax version of I am Legend in the States, will be shown in Canada as well?

I'm not 100% positive, but I would guess the 7 minute preview would be included. I'm all over that one too!!!

On IMDB.com, over 1000 people have given Juno a 10/10 - how? The movie hasn't been released yet. Are people ranking based on hearsay and the trailers?

I would add Grace Is Gone to the maybe, looks decent in the trailer, might be a bit sappy though. John Cusak looks good in it though.

Some, maybe, but I'm sure thousands of people have already seen it via DVD screeners (sent out to critics, then fall into hands of others), test screenings, and since the release date is so close, I'd imagine there have already been some theatre sneek-peek shows.

Looks good. Probably the only one I'm going to see aside from "There Will Be Blood," which recently kicked ass in the LA Film Critic's Association awards. Oh, and The Bucket List, even though I swore I'd never go see another movie that includes a steady stream of MF voiceovers.

Also, although it's already been released...

No Country For Old Men

should be on that list also. Essential cinema, and one of the best films I've seen, well, maybe ever.

It is on a limited release in other cities... just doesn't get here until Friday.

The movie "There will be Blood" looks like it's going to be pretty good. That Daniel Day Lewis is a phenomenal actor.

I have this feeling that "I am Legend" is going to be a huge letdown.

Nope. I won't even be putting down $5 to rent this one. After Knocked Up and Superbad this looks like 10 steps backwards for the team that makes them.

I don't know, I thought this was pretty funny.
