I'll throw this out there for anyone shopping for sci-fi loving friends:
I just picked up Space Above and Beyond: The complete series for $20 @ Future Shop.
I'm happy, I can hardly wait to get started.

Alright, here's the deal. I don't live in Calgary, but obviously I love the Flames or why else would I be here. I've never been to an NHL game, let alone seen the Flames, and on three separate occasions I've gotten my hopes up that I'll get tickets only to have it fall through.
My boyfriend has bought us tickets for the New Year's Eve game this year. I am so freaking excited.
Except, how the hell do you match a present like that? Any ideas?

Pfft.. He's already got her. What he doesn't have is a remote controlled 4x4 to chase the dog around the backyard. Or a Wii. Or a cordless drill that doesn't suck.

Yes, and i can't wait until next week when that guy from knight rider introduces his new series. I'm told that it is very deep drama show, which it better be, since our good old accumulator can't keep the image on in the imagebox.

Just got my dad the entire "BBC Planet Earth" for $53.00 at amazon. Pretty good deal I think. It was 46% off.

I am reviving this thread to see if anyone knows a good brand of candy for diabetics? And perhaps where I could find it, keeping in mind that I am not in Calgary. My mom is always complaining about how there aren't any good ones out there so I thought finding one for her for Christmas would be a good idea.

I've seen a bunch of diabetic candy @ shoppers drug mart (do they have that in OTT?).
Not sure how 'good' it is though.

Yeah, we have Shoppers here, but I am sure she has tried there. I will look and see what they have. Thanks.

What about The Bay. The one we have here is smaller, but at Christmas they usually have a lot of nice Christmas candies/chocolates etc. in the same area where they have their kitchen wares. I have seen things there that I don't usually see other places. Some specialty candy/chocolate stores will make sugar free candy as well.
