Default 69 or 72 Fender Telecaster Thinline?

Anyone own one of these? Is their a noticable difference between these Mexican made and for example an American Deluxe Telecaster?

Sweet, the one with the dual humbucker? What kind of music do you play?

Yeah I've got dual hummziez. <-I speak street.

I've got a Foo Fighters influenced sound. But that's obvious. Other influences (and prominent in the originals) include Coldplay, The Trews, Nirvana to name a few.

Pretty alternative and modern rock. Our covers range from Killing in the Name by to Scotty Doesn't Know by Lustra. So we're all over the place.

Fender Standards are made in Mexico by Mexicans, Fender American standards are made in California by Mexicans.

Other than that, better quality wood and waaay better electronics in the American models, I've found that:

Standard + High end pickups (~$500+250) >= American Standard Stock ($1000+)

I put Vintage noiseless pickups in my Standard tele and I like it more than my Gibson SG standard, at 1/2 the price. I'm biased, I prefer single coils (its easier to beef up tone than to thin it out).
