To be honest, I was at the show when they came in February (one of maybe 14 guys in the entire audience) and they put on a good show, if a bit cheesy. Two pieces of advice:
1)Take ear plugs because the screaming girls are deafening
2)Don't get caught checking out the many hot ladies

Thanks for the advice. I'll be taking the lady friend to see them in February for Valentine's(they're playing the day after here). I'll make sure to grab a pair of ear plugs on the way out the door.

If this past year's concert is any indication, more seats will be released on Saturday, and over time until the concert day itself. Friends of ours got decent floor seats off Ticketmaster three weeks before the concert. Of course, you're giving these as a Christmas gift, so you don't have the benefit of waiting.
I think I should make this point again: There are many hot women at a Rascal Flatts concert.

Are these the guys that made that cover of 'life is a highway', but it ended up being so watered down and bland, that it just sounded like some house band was playing it on request at a wedding?

Those are the guys. It is an awful, awful cover. Hopefully Tom Cochrane is getting a lot of residuals off of it.

For big concert pre-sales (ones they know will sell out), usually the worst seats are released first, then the best ones are released the usual on-sale date.

The password is "craptacular".

What are people getting for the price of all of these tickets and CDs? Cliché-riddled lyrics, sappy ballads, “rock” songs that don’t rock, mediocre musicianship, the guitar-face grimaces from six-string poser Rooney and his bass-playing partner DeMarcus. Worse of all is LeVox’s voice, a contrived country drawl wound so tight he sounded like one of the Chipmunks, as a person sitting near the reporter noted.
Rascal Flatts isn’t the first group to be very bad yet extremely popular, but it really needs to address its encore of “Born in the U.S.A.” at the very least. The band joins the dubious ranks of those who mistake Bruce Springsteen’s song for a flag-waving anthem instead of a critique on how this country failed Vietnam veterans.

### Troutman. I like how they like to call themselves "Country and Roll".
