Default McKnight-WestWinds LRT Info Finaly Online

Calgary Transit has finally updated their website. The new McKnight-WestWinds LRT is opening on Dec 17. I thought it was supposed to be Dec 3...

Yeah, somebody emailed the city and the response was the 3rd.

Oh, well. It is good to start knowing schedules and so on.

Its about time the city combined train service with great bus service. So many stations dont maximize the usefullness of the Ctrain in this city.

I just received an email announcing the Official Opening of the new station Sat. Dec 15 at Noon (With Bronco, Special Ed Stelmach and Jim 'bought and paid for' Prentice).

Last night there was a machine driving along the tracks grinding the top of the rails. It was quite the light show at around 5:15pm

Last Sunday I actually saw a C-Train going down the new track! I want to go to the opening but I also want to go to Jim Prentice's office for the DMCA thing. They are on at the same time!

The Open House for Prentice is tomorrow. The Station opening is a week from Saturday. A group can stalk him asking about this stuff...
