There could be 2 options, IMO.............

1) Whichever order you signed up to be in this pool. Obviously, Incogneto would pick first since it was his idea in the first place.

2) Longest serving posters on this board. Obviously, longest serving members would pick first.

I think we should cap it at 19 people. If you have 20, then the last person to pick isn't really picking, they are stuck with someone. That defeats the purpose of a pool, especially when there is only 1 round.

If we had 20 then we could just each randomly pick a person, like in a draw or something. Since we will have to pick before the show starts anyways, there's not really a good way of knowing who's going to do well on the show.

You can't do a random pick, then people would end up with the same survivor. That would be ok if we were taking more than 1 person, but that isn't the case. We each need to have someone different for the pool to work.

Alphabetical Poster Name = Alphabetical Survivor Name?

Basically we order ourselves by name, organize the Survivors by name, and match them up. I'm A, so I'll go with the Survivor who's (last, first?) name starts with A, or failing that, B, etc.

This would save us having to draft, and would be as random as I can imagine (did anyone here choose their poster name thinking about Survivor Palau in advance? I hope not...)

If it's random, I don't see the point of a pool to start with.

I have a program here to randomize this stuff, so I will do that, and we'll draft 1-20.

I will also start a new thread for the draft too....gimmie about 20 minutes, and that should be up and running....
