Yeah, I don't disagree. I mean, I'm very very happy the Broncos got Cutler and was on draft day. Liked him more than Leinart and Young. I just think the media has gone overboard on the 'Young can't pass' theory. No doubt, he struggles at times. There are worse passers in the league to be sure.
Honestly, I think the Broncos would've won by more had they not been able to get the pressure on him they did. He's quick to scamper off and does it as well as anyone I've ever seen, including Vick. If he had the time to throw the ball it might have been more beneficial to the Broncos than his running was.

If you are in the Pick 'Em pool don't forget to get your picks set early. Games on Thanksgiving this week.

habby has run away with the CP pool. He has a 27 point lead.

I have him right where I want him.
He's such a homer. I'm pretty sure he's picked his beloved Patriots every week. Who does that?

I think Brady should play the Dolphins game left handed. Then I would be impressed

I heard him on Mike and Mike
He said when asked about if NE feels that gambling on 4th and short instead of kicking FG's vs Buffalo was wrong, he basically said that what he really thinks is wrong is the Buffalo defence going into work today and collecting a check for their day's work on Sunday. Said something about the poor owner who has to pay these guys for laying an egg the way they did.

hahahahaha! What's the spread this week? 25? Bill Simmons' columns are making me laugh every week. "The Patriots are hated by everyone. They're the Cobra-Kai Yankees."
I still can't believe my luck in the pick 'em pool. Every time I blow a game with lots of confidence points, pretty much everyone else does, too.

Speaking of the pickem pool....Games start on Thursday from here on in. Usually we have a couple guys get this far and forget picks and it really costs them. So get your picks in either today or by 10:25 tommorrow morning.

interesting take on the performances of Brady and Moss:
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7472596?MSNHPHMA
I've been telling people all year (Colt fans especially) that this is the first time Brady has had an elite receiver and it shows with the ridiculous numbers he's throwing out there. Manning has always had the terrific Marvin Harrison, and look what happens when he isn't in the lineup.

No no no!!! Impossible.
Its all about Brady actually getting better than ever and making better decisions, and not about the team around him getting better.
I know this because I was told by someone who forgot more football knowledge sleeping one night than I have ever known!!

This makes me laugh...were they a Colt fan?
It seems that no Colt fan can admit Brady is the better QB. Brady is going to make Mannings single season TD record look like a joke!

Brady also came out today on a New England radio station to say:
Quote:
"We're trying to play extremely well. We're not trying to win 42-28. We're trying to win--we're trying to kill teams, to blow them out if we can. You want to build momentum for each week. You don't want it to be 42-7 or 35-7 and then all of a sudden you look up and it's 35-21."

Probably because he isn't a better QB than Manning.

His record, His numbers and those Super Bowls tell a different story I guess.

Both Manning and Brady are HOF'ers if they retired tommorow. I consider them to be right on par with each other. That article was a complete joke, reeks of a bitter fan.
Before this year, Manning has always had the luxury of having Marvin Harrison and a god awful defense on his side, while Brady has never had a go to guy like Moss but always had a very solid defensive group.
Peyton has struggled a little bit these last few weeks (even though he's a chip shot fg made from being 2-0) without Harrison, but he's also had to deal with no Dalls Clark, Gonzalez, and Tony Ugoh. Ugoh has been a huge blow as Charlie Johnson has been a joke of a tackle, against KC sunday Manning was under a ton of pressure all game long from his side. Anybody making the argument that Manning is nothing without Harrison because he's had two louzy games is just as big of an idiot as the guy who wrote the Brady/Moss article.
Credit to Brady for having the rings, and being one of the best quaterbacks to play the game. He's never had the pressure on him like Peyton has, to by himself lead his team to victory. Manning's always had Harrison, Brady's always had a defense. Just for the record to many peoples suprise, the Patriots havn't won the superbowl yet.

If this is what Brady can do with real WR's I guess last year showed us what Manning can do with a real defense.
As flames_1987 said they are both great Qb's, future HOFer's and probably on par with each other.
Manning has had the better numbers, maybe because of his WR's etc. Brady has more rings maybe because of better defense etc.
I would love to see the records that Manning would break with this same group of WR, this O-Line and a coach with as much hate and no respect like Belichek.
It seems to me, especially this year, that it is more often Pats fans, Brady fans and some others that feel the need to constantly bring up how Brady is better, their team is better, everything about the Pats is better. I have never seen a team that is doing so great seem to have such a inferiority complex that them and (many, not all) their fans seem to constantly need to tell everyone how good they are. Even when it is all the talking heads talk about these days it doesn't seem like its enough.
Thats part of the reason I don't get bandwagon Pats fans. They aren't likeable. I can't think of one guy on their team that is likeable in anyway and their are plenty of guys that are asses and very hateable. They aren't sympathetic, they aren't a good story and they are playing like asses every single weak. I can understand long term fans enjoying it, but what about these POS would make someone jump on their bandwagon? I guess many people like a winner but they are winning is such a disgusting, gutless manner that I don't see what is appealing about that.

Manning has also had a good running game, but they're both great, guess the question it comes down to is if you had to pick one to win a game and gave them the same weapons, who would it be? ..............Brady would be the guy I take.
