Default Vasectomy

Hey, guys:

With all due respect to the abundance of circumcision threads on here, I'm getting "cut" in an altogether different way tomorrow.

Does anyone have any tips? I was told to wash my, um, affected area with antibacterial soap tonight and again just prior to the procedure. I was also told to bring tight-fitting underwear.

I have a brief consultation just prior. I was lead to believe that one can choose between a regular job and one that includes implementation of titanium clips. Anyone have issues either way?

Is it painful after? I'm sure I read on here a few years ago that it's not as bad as having teeth cleaned, and I'm sure freezing helps, but I'm more concerned about later that day and beyond.

Thanks.

Any time you can have titanium implanted in you, I say go for it. You'll be one step closer to become some kind of half-man half-machine super hero. I wonder what powers you'll wake up with...

How much does the procedure cost? What are the failure rates in the event that one wants it reversed?

Just make sure they get it right the first time!
My former husband had to get it done twice, the first time didn't work, luckily we found out before any accidents happened.

Do share. I'm looking at having this done in the very near future also.

Depending on what powers he obtains, commercial air travel may be irrelevant.

Pardon my ignorance (and intrusion), but how did you know that it didn't work the first time? Did he have a lab check it out?

There was a thread on this a little over a year ago.

A few people related their experiences.

Yes, you are always supposed to go back to the office a certain period of time afterward, for them to test a "sample" to make sure there are no swimmers left there. He didn't get this done until months afterward, really didn't believe there would be a problem and was procrastinating, and sure enough got a call the day after the sample went in to say there were still lots of swimmers, and the doctor had to re-do the procedure.

Had it done in the summer, honestly it's not that big of a deal at all. Thinking about it for days leading up were painful but the whole thing took 25 minutes and I drove home myself. Had a little different procedure than what you're having (I had the "no scalpal vas") and it worked like a charm.

It is not that painful but very uncomfortable. The freezing is the worst part.

This is the guy I used www.vasman.com and it cost about 150.00

I concur, but make sure you tell the wife the amount of pain and discomfort you are in and that you will have to spend days on the couch! also make sure to inform her that you wanted to do it and it would be a case of "anything for you, darling"!

I highly recommend a bag of frozen peas too.

I was quoted $150 over and above health care. I'm not sure about failure rates, but I'll ask during my consultation. I've heard that titanium implant option is the most "foolproof."

So after its done, things all look and feel the same? What about "playing monopoly"? The "end of the game"?
