It has potential... Think about it. A fireplace arm guy until ~mid january followed by fireplace arm cupid until mid feb, a drunken red haired arm until mid march, and an easter bunny arm for april.
May gets a little trickier. How about drunken teenagers on quads trashing a bonrire.
June could be a golf-gloved arm. Ditto july and august unless a bikini clad woman took over the duties.
September could be a german themed arm guy with one of those covered beer mugs being placed on a side table while the fire is stoked. An oktoberfest thing.
October would obviously have some gnarly zombie type arm guy and then november we're back to christmas. He should have a santa suit on though.

Okay, Channel 10 has a spot about someone who runs a psuedo yoga facility named "Wanda Blow."
I just spit hot tea halfway across the room.
And I am the beer pong champion of the universe. I won it and everything.

I just saw the arm!!!!
Edit: This is on Starchoice 299. No music, just the wood burning. (And it must be crappy wood - it is really popping and snapping)
Edit2: Starchoice channel 238 is the Christmas carols playing, so both starchoice channels are different fireplaces.
Edit3: and the Christma carol/Fireplace channel just had a guy add another small piece of wood

I am so happy it is back, but ya... cut the music :/ People can always put their own music on.. but you can't turn that music off!

The music is brutal - the best thing about this entire thing is that it used to just be the nice cracklin' of the fireplace. Shaw doesn't even have a clue why FPG is so beloved.

Well then Shaw must be using a different loop than Starchoice. On the channel with music FPAG is pretty active, stirring the fire every 5-10 minutes.

Well, Im hoping they change things up a bit over the next month. But just in case they dont I bought a fireplace DVD via eBay tonight. Came in a value pack of 3 DVDs. Fireplace (with 9 different fires to choose from!), aquarium and beaches of the Caribbean!
Choose between 9 different fireplaces in either widescreen or standard
screen that can be looped for continuous play together or individually.
Enjoy a range of fires from Holiday Fire (with a model train running
underneath an x-mas tree), Stone Fireplace, Modern (with Glass front),
Campfire, just flames, and even candles. Choose between all natural sounds
fireplace sounds, Classical music, Holiday music and Jazz presented in Dolby 5.1 surround.

I think one of the US channels showed a fireplace thing in HD on Christmas Day last year.
I also noticed that the latest London Drugs flyer has a fireplace DVD for $7.99. http://www.londondrugs.com/msib20/Fl...f/hitech_2.pdf
