Just leave it up permanently and take it down when the CT train is actually running on time. It would be a lot less work for you ken.

As of 7:50 am, CTrain service is now pretty well back to
normal with only minimal delays as we rebuild service.

Is there a new station open in the NW? I was on the north bound train this morning and it said it was a Crowfoot train.

According to http://calgarytransit.com/Routes/lrt_stop.html the Crowfoot station opens in 2008.

I didn't notice any problems on the train this morning just after 7am. Guess they had it fixed by the time I got there.

Have they announced when the Tuscany/Royal Oak station is planned for? I know they announced funding but I haven't heard any dates.

Not nitpicking, but I'm actually curious, isn't it going to be Tuscany/Rocky Ridge? I always thought it would be on the West side of Rocky Ridge Road.

Given how Crowfoot ended up as Centennial, I'm sure it'll be named something intuitive like "Meadowlands".

I wonder when the new NE station opens?

Everything I can find says "next month". With it being almost half way into November you would think they could pin it down a bit more.

The platform is well lit and appears to have all signage in place, but on my way to work I still see a crew wandering up and down the new tracks every morning.

Something broke down in Edmonton? Alert the press!!

In other Edmontonian news, today's un-scheduled breakdown has now been re-scheduled for tomorrow pending a background check.

Sort of like naming a crappy vinyl-clad suburb, Tuscany.

please take your winter coat off if you get too hot on the train. As soon as it drop below 0 degrees, the drivers of the train feel it necessary to crank the heat up. But, with a million people packed in like sardines it gets warm in there as it is. So, people have their parkas on, are squished in like sardines and the heater is blowing dry hot air on everyone. Next thing you know, someone drops/faints/passes out. This seems to happen a fair bit. I would rather be on a cold train that is running on time, than a hot stuffy one thats stuck at a station or on the track because someone got too hot and fainted. I love the train!!!

Actually that complaint should go to the drivers, in reverse. They need to keep their winter coats on. However they get "comfortable", take off their coat, and set the heat to a setting that is good for them.

People carrying coats takes up more room than people wearing them. Plus the room you need to take off and put back on your coat. All of that hassle for one person.
