broke the first rule
|
stole this one from another forum. It's simple: One person states a line from a movie, the next person names the movie (and the character and/or actor), then posts another line from a movie. repeat.
I'll start with an easy one:
"Listen. You smell something?"

Dr. Strangelove.
From one of my favourite movies:
"Man, the world ain't supposed to work like this. I mean, maybe you don't know that yet. I'm supposed to be able to do my job without having to ask you if I can. That dude is supposed to be able to wait with his car without you ripping him off. Everything is supposed to be different than it is."

Easy one I know

I'll admit I cheated on this one- it was tough. Harvey Pekar from American Splendor.
It did sound familiar though, so I feel entitled. So there.

Yup, Memento.
I'll post for Kobasew7 (hint in that sentence):
"Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer- and then you'll notice you've got their strict attention."
