Thats number 12 in a row for the Jets. What is all time CPHL record for most losses in a row? The Jets have now averaging 2.11 goals per game.

Booo yah, Thats 2 in a row for the Jackets now baby! Realistically, we're a bad team, but I had a much worse team than this with the Devils two years ago and still was able to limp through a season with 71 points. Eventually my team had to start catching a couple lucky breaks and win the odd game here and there when the other team didn't play well. After starting the season 0-8-1, we havn't been that bad.
Steven Weiss has been much better for us lately, we seem to have figured out how to get him matched up a bit better of late. Unfortunately we lose Joni Pitkanen again...Unfortunately part of having a young team is having guys injured every game. Oh well.

The Predators got some solid goaltending from Thibault for the second straight game and earned their second straight win as well. It was scoring by commitee as seven different players lit the lamp today against Anaheim. Even Ruslan Salei got involved in the action!
Both Ric Jackman and Marek Malik were +3. Marc Savard had a three point night and was named the games first star. Overall, things seem to be turning with the latest deals here in Nashville.

well we sort of saw this coming. due for a loss with some guys still not at full strength, and Dubie getting the start. he loses the battle of the backups to former Sabre Sanford. Another former Sabre Michael Ryder gets hurt in this one. Alexander Steen is named 3rd star, a positive for him as he has been in a slump

Wow tough game but we played a solid team and Jose sucked in net. Can anyone tell me why on a day off (yesterday) luongo went from 99 to 96CD when my team didnt even play. Now I scratch him completely and he is only 97 despite not having played in a couple days and having been a 99 (maybe 98) after his last game then randomly dropping to 96 during practice?

Are the Pens back? I don't think we are yet but we are certainly moving in the right direction. This is the 2nd straight win and 5th point in the last 3 games for us and the offense really came to life tonight. Facing the Isles who are in 8th place we knew we would have to come out hard, and the 5-0 score after 1 showed that we clearly wanted this game more. Tomorrows game is against the tough Rangers who sit in 10th spot in the conference.

Woof!
Facing the Jets the Yotes decided to play a 96 CD Toskala. Vesa was poised for a shutout last game vs Detroit but was forced to leave with an eye injury (Danis came in and finished the SO). The Coyote keeper responded tonight by shutting out the Jets.
Martin Rucinsky led the way with 3 assists while Handzus had a goal and an assist.
The line of Handzus-Rucinsky-Prospal has been on fire. Dubbed the Herpe line (HRP) the trio have been leading the Coyotes up the standings. Since being shutout by the Blues on Day26 the 3 Coyotes Stars have preformed as follows:
10 goals, 23 assists, +16
Handzus - 5 Games - 1G, 7A, +5
Rucinsky - 5 Games - 6G, 7A, +6
Prospal - 5 Games - 3G, 9A, +5
Not bad for a #2 line. Now if the Sundin-Ponikarovsky-Langenbrunner line can start producing as it should we will be unbelievable!
The Coyotes now have 5 days off before going to Minnesota to face the Wild. GM Drunk has said to expect some fun off-ice activities during this mini-break.

Finally get back in the Win column with a good game against the Hurricanes but suffer another loss to injury as Koivu, Vrbata and Boyes seem to have collided with Vrbata hitting the other two with a major penalty sized elbow. He gets ejected and the other two get injured.
Most of the scoring in this one came from our 3rd line and while we're happy they can help out occasionally, we'd like to see our top 2 lines scoring the majority of the goals. Both Budaj and Toivonen are not quite full condition wise now and it will be a tough decision who gets the start as Toivo has been the better of the two lately.

Thrashers played a great first 2 periods and took a 5-2 lead before they stopped playing and the Stars took it to them to tie it 5-5 and send it to overtime. Brind'Amour scored in ot to give the Thrashers a 6-5 win. 12 games now since a loss in regulation! (9-0-1-2). Huge credit to Dallas in coming back from down 5-2 to send it to overtime. A good team over there in Dallas. Dwayne Roloson was at 98 cd so he was given the night off. Mason played a good 2 period but not a 3rd and was pulled. He still got the win to go to 2-2-1 on the season. Maxime Daigneault came in and played the end of the 3rd and overtime.

Leafs beat Oil 4-2.
Neither team played too good, but the Leafs prevailed with a 4-2 win for their third win in a row. The Leafs leaned on their better players with 4 days off ahead and it payed off. Langkow and Havelid both score while being double shifted on the 4th line.
Henrik Lundqvist stopped 17 of 19. He's been worked hard for a while now so hopefully he recovers by our next game.
Mattias Norstrom had no points and +1 in 19 minutes of ice during his Leafs debut.
Sean Avery was suspended for 1 game. Gotta love him

Good Game by the Flames. With Axel checking out the "Ladies" at the Mustang Ranch, Droopy managed to pull off the 4-2 win. I think I figured it out for you Old Man. That Kipper guy isn't very good.

Great win by the Blues. Arnason makes a splash with 2 points. Sanford gets a win against his old club. The downside is the Sabers show how much they dislike Micheal Ryder by taking him out for 4-6 weeks.
