I'm not shocked at all, the Saints haven't had a pass rush all season, and the secondary is ridiculous. The Rams watched tape of the Tampa game early in the year and are blitzing on nearly every play and the Saints o-line can't handle it, forcing Brees into bad turnovers.

Well when a guy is absolutely killing you...why not give him a cheapshot in the junk. Dirty, dirty play by Breckenridge on Brandon Marshall. Than again looks to be the only way the Chiefs can slow him down. Pretty ugly first half in that Chiefs and Bronco's game, I imagine Denver is happy to only be down 2 points given the field position they had to deal with for a lot of that half. Priest Holmes was having a good first half until that disasterous 13 yard loss. Chiefs need an offensive line in the worst way. If they had a line and a good QB...they might be good enough to be the AFC's 3rd best team.
Cleveland also continuing to play well as they're up on Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. If Cleveland win's this game today I think that will go a long ways towards letting them make the playoffs. Next to the Colts they're the team who played New England the toughest this year.

Can't really get on Priest about that loss, it was 3rd and goal and he didn't have the run so he was just trying to make something happen, and didn't come close to taking them out of FG range.
My question is what the hell was Napoleon Harris doing on the Selvin Young TD run? Talk about opting out. Hard to believe that guy was once traded for Randy Moss.
And the Broncos are finally getting some breaks. After getting 2 defensive TD's scored on them last week they get one.
Brodie Croyle time.

They look like the worst team of the day so far, I have never seen such a sh*ty team dominate a team that is suppose to make the playoffs, but after this hopefully they don't.

Steelers have overcome their first half Broncos imitation and lead the Browns in the 4th quarter.
Beautiful throw by Cutler to Graham there.
Maybe the season's not quite over.
I'm a Colts fan in about 45 minutes.

I wonder if every single sportscaster will be bailing off of the Adrian Peterson wagon after this weekend. Greenbay is abusing Minnesota. All ESPN talked about this week was Peterson and whether he was going to break the single season record by 100 yards or 200 yards. Hahaha.
Related - has anyone else noticed that sports broadcasts are making a more concerted effort to point out records falling, the best player at a certain position (I counted at least 3 ESPN guys saying Peterson was the best theyd ever seen), or that a certain event is the biggest game ever (Indy-Pats). A little pet peeve of mine.

I'm pretty sure I gave the Saints 14 confidence points in pick 'em.
Uh oh.

Really, really sick of it.
Now, I think Peterson is going to be a superstar, but the kid has played 9 games. Sheesh.
The Patriots talk is just crazy. Wait til the end of the season to annoint them the best team ever.

How was that not a catch in the Saints game? He looked like he had it the whole time....

It's like people want to be the first to annoint the next greatest player. The hype around Vince Young, Peterson, the Pats, etc... It really drives me crazy.
Peterson will be great if he's used properly and not overworked like Cadillac Williams early in his career. But to say, after 9 games, that he's "the best I've ever seen" make the knowledgeable viewer think that you havent seen too many RBs.

Did anyone see that PA bootleg by Cutler? Haha. The camera man was fooled, the announcer was fooled and KC was fooled. Wow. What a fake.
And apparently no one told Pittsburgh that Cleveland can play a little football. They are standing toe-to-toe with the Steelers and winning. That Anderson guy... jeebus.
St Louis is beating up the Saints (who are just terrible today), the Bills are in a dog fight with a CFL team in Miami and the AFC west is going to be really tight after this weekend (if Indy takes care of business).
I heart the NFL.

Cutler is going to be the best to ever play the game.
Seriously though, he's got all the tools to be a great starting QB in this league for the next 15 years. His physical skill set is comparable to Elways. It's going to be fun to watch him.

Culter has the physical tools to be very good down the road. But, as importantly (if not more so) is that he is in an organization which is run properly. They run the ball, usually have good defense (this year is an anomaly), have a great coach and a great offensive line. Culter's situation can be compared with Big Ben in Pittsburgh.
I wish the Raiders were run as well. Alas, it wont be realistic until Skeletor dies.

This is by far Denver's best defensive performance of the year and I'm not naive enough to believe it's simply because KC isn't a worldbeater on offense. Maybe things are looking up. Of course if they happen to make the playoffs they won't go anywhere, but it keeps that sliver of hope that makes the NFL so much fun.

well we have had some historic events lately. Peterson set a all time single game record, the pats/indy game was the first to have undefeated teams this late in the year, Cromartie set an all time NFL record by advancing the ball 109 yards ... it's been a unique 2 weeks.
