They also only won by 2 points. Do I think the Titan's are as good as the Colts? Heck no. But I also don't think the Colts are as good as they think they are. I wouldn't write off the Titans yet either, both games they lost this year were very close and when the play the Colts it's always a close game, one of which they won last year, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Just wondering, who of the following:

Bills, Eagles, Ravens, Steelers*, Jets, Dolphins, Giants* do you think they will lose to (* added for the two teams I think have a better than 0 chance of beating them).

Are you telling me that in those last 7 games you would put your own money against the Patriots?

I told him if that ticket wins I'd give him $50.
Just a point of clarity - are ties not 3 points?

Example 30-27 = tie?

Yes I would.

If I get those 7 teams and the house gets the Pats I'm all over it.

I'll tell you who won't be beating the Pats, the Eagles. We're a garbage team heading straight for a top 10 pick. Kenny Phillips here we come!

Larry Johnson is rumored to have a broken ankle and be out for the season. The Chiefs too will be inline for a top 10 pick. Oh well team needs lot's of help, and 3 top 10 picks likley wouldn't fix them, let alone one!!

Don't give up yet!

Honestly, has Johnson done much this year? Will the loss be that huge?

I picked up Priest for my fantasy team this week and he's starting!!

I believe Priest and Kolby Smith can carry the load and frankly their passing game will be much better off without MR. One Dimensional LJ.

If its gonna be anyone itll be the Steelers, I wouldnt be shocked if they ended up beating the Pats, especially if its at Heinz(where's the game at?)

Foxboro. Pittsburgh couldnt win in Arizona or Denver, I would say theyre going to be in tough against the Pats at home.

Could the Ravens be a classic trap game?

Perhaps. The Ravens would have to play lights out football and get very lucky though. They just simply dont have the talent and their defense isnt what it used to be... their saving grace.

I think this team is veteran enough and has the coach not to get too carried away. But that could definitely pose a problem with Pittsburgh a week later.

Troy Williamson of the Vikings is fined a game cheque for missing the game last weekend. He was arranging the funeral of his grandmother. That seems pretty classless to me.

Quote:
Coach Brad Childress told Twin Cities-area media following Thursday's practice that the decision was on a "business principle" of the Vikings organization.

Yeah, I read that and you have to feel a bit for Williamson. Sounds like he was pretty close to his grandmother and had to step up to take care of things. I mean it's not like he could ask her to pass away during the offseason and most people are allowed bereavement time at their jobs.

I gotta pull for the Steelers to trip the Patriots up. The only thing that'll stop Brady is iron-wall defence which the Steelers can bring. But at home, the Pats definately get the edge...

Who does everyone have this week? I see some "upsets" happening this week as some teams who are struggling match up pretty good against their average opponent.

Atlanta @ Carolina
Buffalo @ Miami
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh
Denver @ Kansas City
Jacksonville @ Tennessee
Minnesota @ Green Bay
Philadelphia @ Washington
St. Louis @ New Orleans
Cincinnate @ Baltimore
Chicago @ Oakland
Dallas @ NY Giants
Detroit @ Arizona
Indianapolis @ San Diego
San Francisco @ Seattle

Well I like Denver to cover the spread against the Chiefs tommorrow. Chiefs will have no LJ and Priest Holmes is kind of like their Craig Conroy...good guy who you pull for but no longer has it. Denver's pass defence will crush the Chiefs passing game....And the Chiefs special teams will do somthing stupid to cost them the game.

Apparently Sean Payton put mousetraps with Rams logos in all the players lockers to keep the boys aware of the classic "trap" game. Bush's knee is a little wonky as he is listed as questionable, this one has me nervous as the Saints secondary might be what the doctor ordered for Bulger, the offence will need to score in the the 30's today.

Travis "My 12 sons" Henry will not play today, which I think is good news for the Broncos.

I can't believe St Luois is making a game of this, the Saints aren't the team they were last at all! Hopefully they can turn it around as they have lots of time left in the game, but damn I am kinda shocked at what is taking place right now.
