Ok, I recall the thread where many of you declared the cat poster as good comedy.

This thread is not for you.

Is there anyone else out there that cringes every time you see one of them?

The classic "hang loose" with a photo of a wet cat hanging from a branch - or some derivative thereof - use to be my "psycho-meter" for girls. If I ended up at a girl's pad and she had one of these oh-so-comical posters or pictures, that was a sign she was a nut-bar and that it was best that I sneak out the window clothes or not!

I went out with a gal who had one a poster of the cat hanging from the limb, and the caption was "Hang in there." She had also scratched the eyes out of the cat and had a butter knife jammed through it's chest. Since then, I've looked on those posters with a bit of a different eye.

Any motivational animal picture has no place in my house.

I hate the ones that are supposed to be all cutesy-wutesy. Like two cats cuddling with a caption "Furry Friends Forever" or some gay crap.

LOLCats are friggin' hilarious though cuz of the juxtaposition of leet dood captions on completely absurd cat photos.

I laughed pretty hard after I read the original post, only to scroll down and see "Therapy cat is concerned"

Out of all the cat pictures the only ones I dislike, and it's a strong dislike, are the ones that try to be cute by spelling words wrong.

"i eats yur fambly"
"is it can be hugs tiem now plees?"
"you eated my cookie?"
"cannot unsee what i saw'ded"

I hate all of the LOLCats but the ones you mentioned are the worst ones. Especially when I catch girls I know using that kind of speek in regular conversation. Between that and text messaging our language will soon be a series of moans and grunts like back in the good ol' days before civilization.
