That is not what that phrase means, though. I don't disagree with what you are saying here at all, but "bro's before ho's" is all about male solidarity and disrespect for women, not some high-minded statement of "assumed trust".

How does he then, and I quote "kind of consider you a good friend", while you, and again I quote, "don't really like him"? Is the guy so oblivious that your dislike for him doesn't impinge on his consciousness?

If you are really friends with her, you take the good with the bad. If you are only looking for female friends who won't complain about stuff they don't really want to fix - well, as someone said earlier, you are thinkin' with the "man-brain", 'cause that just isn't going to happen. So if that really bothers you, I suggest you dump her as a friend, and stay away from female friends in the future.

Sounds to me like you are getting wrapped up in the whole drama and if you are not careful will just become a part of it. If other friends find out what you've done they will look down on you in the same way you look down on them.

nah, its one thing to nail a friends broad, entirely a different thing to nail the broad of a guy you don't like. Revenge screwing, always fun.

The most annoying part of this to me, is that Rune's friend is a self-imposed dick, and he's got several girlfriends.

Either this guy is too smooth with the girls he talks to, or this is a huge statement about the intelligence/confidence levels of girls in this city.

I for one, can't stand girls that complain about things and then don't do anything about it. When that happens to me, I tell them my advice, and then tell them to not come back talking to me until they've solved the situation. A little harsh, but it's kind of a kick in the bum for them to analyze their situation. Makes them believe that they can't come to you just to complain, they come to you for actual help.

The thing I find funny is that the whole point in the original post could have been made in the first and last paragraph. The whole part about him sleeping with the girl is irrelevant filler that comes off more as him putting a notch under his belt.

If this girl remains with a guy that she knows is a jerk, then she likely has issues (issues that make sleeping with her nothing to brag about). Issues that quite likely stem from past abuse.

All of the good advice has been made in the above posts. However, one more thing. If this girl is with a guy sleeping with multiple partners, and she is sleeping with multiple partners, you might want to get checked out for STDs.

The best advice here is a combination between Cowboy89 and Gimp... although if you opt for the Gimp method, wrap it up to avoid STIs (the correct term for STDs)

Girls fall for ######bags because ######s offer something to them. Don't bother trying to figure out what... cause sometimes its impossible for the logical man brain to figure it out, and 99 times out of 100, its not worth the time to figure out when one's man brain can be thinking about work, sports or boobies.

Therefore I see two options... the Cowboy89 method... do what's best for you and vacate the situation without taking a pound of flesh... or what Gimp said... do what's best for you and use her a little (safely) and move on.

An STI is something that can be fixed, like "the clap". There's a lot more serious stuff running around out there.

I was under the impression all STDs were STIs, and that even HIV/AIDS is considered a sexually transmitted infection. I could be wrong though, but I heard this from a med student and a nurse.

This thread is funny. A lot of guys in here apparently know a lot of girls with low self esteem. Yes, feel free to tell her to piss off until she grows a spine and dumps the dude, that you have better things to do than spend your free time listening to her complain about her problem(s) without her actually taking any initiative to fix them.

I thought HIV/AIDS was considered a disease. I heard this from an AIDS Calgary presentation in one of my classes. I don't know. All of it's bad to get, no matter what you call it.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend getting checked out.
