Cheap Hockey gear?

Anyone know stores where I can get cheap ice hockey gear? So far I've gotten skates, helmet stick and gloves..

When I started playing I found Wal-Mart to have some decent stuff for cheap.

No matter what anyone says, do not go used. It's not even close to worth it. You've already got the expensive items purchased and only really need the cheap stuff. These are some starting prices from Sportchek for senior gear...

Elbow pads: $20
Shoulder pads: $25
Shin pads: $35
Hockey pants: $30
For these prices it's not worth buying old stinking crap that falls apart after a few wears. Also, as you keep playing you can replace all the cheap stuff piece by piece until your gear is a bit more top notch.

Yeah the stench of another mans sweat is priceless.

Sorry, but with the way hockey gear develops its own "signature" over time, I would never consider buying used.

Besides, usually you can find reasonable deals on new stuff at Sport Chek, etc.

I know this wouldn't happen this time of year, but my wife sent me there in March or April to grab some stuff, and they announced they were blowing out all of their skates for $10. I grabbed a pair of CCM skates for each of my kids. I believe the regular price was $70 per pair.
