Little Known 'Boring' Websites That Make Incredible Money With AdSense
LOS ANGELES — Jerry Alonzy figured he'd be working into his 70s at least.
As an independent handyman at the mercy of weather patterns near Hartford, Conn., he'd always made a decent income that rarely grew.
Then he found Google and his life changed. Alonzy, 57, now makes $120,000 a year from the ads Google places on his Natural Handyman website, and he couldn't be more thrilled.
"I put in two, maybe three hours a day on the site, and the checks pour in," he says. "What's not to like?"
In return for placing its ads on websites and blogs, Google pays Web publishers every time one of its ads are clicked.

I wish they'd point out how many hits their site gets each day.

Exactly. I'd be curious too. Traffic is one of the most difficult things to attain to any website. Go figure this one makes so much, but honestly AdSense is all about tricking people into thinking that the ad is actually a link for your website and if you have "smart" viewers then you won't do very well.
I think it's hit or miss. Some days on FuddyTV we make $10, some we make $100...it's so random. I wish there was a good formula to make it work consistently.

I was wondering why we didn't have them.
I'd click on them just to make CP some money.

It's not based on how many adds you have or how popular your site is, it's what is on the adds that is important.

How much traffic do you get?
How many hits per day?
I bet CP gets thousands of hits per day.
Maybe more.

I won't share specifics unless Bingo give an ok, but we get a lot of traffic.. forums don't get much $$ because the clickthroughs are usually super low compared to the number of page impressions.

I hope Bingo makes enough to pay the costs of running this site.

Its even worse when you come back to your computer after having cranked some music then visit CP and this voice is just screaming at you.

I knooooooow. That one kills me every time. I love google ads cause they're not intrusive. I used to run a Warcraft/WoW site back in the day, we had google ads. We got lots of compliments about how well the ads worked into the design of the site.
