I don't know, I think like 5 or something.

Damn, I remember when I went out, there were kids everywhere. It could be the street I live on also. We don't exactly live on the busiest street.

I dunno. It varies. Last year, I got about 120. The year before that, 60, and the year before that, about 90. I never know how much candy to buy, because there's a good chance I'm going to be left with a ton, anyway.

Not that I'm complaining about the surpluss of Tootsie Rolls and Mars bars I'll have.

Actually I ran out of the full sized bars I normally give out, so now everybody gets 2 or 3 "halloween sized" bars. (Depending on politeness and also on costume.)
Full sized chocolate bars?

You can be sure kids will be commenting about your house. Just watch your numbers increase next year

Sadly it's 8:07 and ONLY 6 kids showed up. The next one is gonna a bowl full of chocolate bars in his or her bag. Better in their bag than on my waistline

I had to run out for a bit and I barely saw houses with lights on. This was at 7:30. Trick or treating really seems to be in decline from where I am too.

Big fat 0. I guess it doesn't help when your entire condo complex has all of their lights out and is hiding just in case kids do show.

We have tons of little kids on our street. Estimating 100 so far, and I imagine we are done now being quarter after 8.
My neighbor (who's deploying to Afghanistan shortly) was wearing a giant fat ballerina suit; I think that's my favorite costume so far.

Gave the most candy to a 10 year old (approx.) who said "Go Flames" to me after looking at my jersey; then he corrected himself and said "That's an Omaha jersey" I was impressed by his knowledge.

Probably 25 + btw, if you're the 14 year old Oiler fan with a Can of Tuna in your bag.

... it was the neighbor... yeah.

The look on the little girl was priceless when I dumped that bowl of chocolate bars in her bag. Her eyes were as wide as saucers. Mission accomplished!

30+, ran out of candy and had to start giving granola bars!

Partly though because my son loved giving them out by the handful. He wasn't out because he didn't want to wear his Superman costume, "Gonna fly and gonna fall!" was his reasoning.

Hopefully in his candy bag and not in his face.

On an aside, It would be interesting if everyone would post what community they live in, in order to see if there is a discernible pattern.

We got any stats whizzes on CP? We must have.

Well now, it is halloween, a night for fright, and there isn't anything more frightening to the education system than a young Oilers fan.

Yeah, Superstore sells a halloween pack of 16 of them for $7.50 Last year I bought 2 and only needed 1. This year I could have used 2. Put my count at around 20 kids for this year.

When I was a kid I always loved the guy who had the good stuff. One neighbour worked for Old Dutch and handed out what are now the 99˘ bags of chips.

I live in a Cul-De-Sac, not too far off the beaten path in Shawnessy.

Cool. I live in a cul-de-sac in Acadia, an older community. I'd guess we only have two houses on our street with any kids at all.

I got about 30. Which is about what I was told to expect. So I have 7 bags of cheesies and 3 mini chocolate bars left.

Full size chocolate bars? I'm going to Ken0042's house... I'll look pretty silly as a 35 year old man out trick or treatin', but FULL SIZE CHOCOLATE BARS?!?!

I got three knocks on the door. Apparently lights off, curtains drawn, doorbell pulled off the wall doesn't mean what it used to.
