In an unprecedented finish that had more twists and turns than the surreal Cal-Stanford ending of 1982, Trinity University executed 15 laterals, off a kickoff return, before scoring a touchdown at the final gun to clinch an improbable 28-24 win over Millsaps College.

That was just crazy! I thought the announcer was going to soil himself he got so excited...
Of course, in the CFL it would be guaranteed that one of the officials would have made an iffy holding call, thus nullifying the touchdown. Then the coach would have run out on the field and thrown a replay flag, only afterwards realizing that penalties aren't up for review; after which he would have complained about the officiating, and been fined $2500 in Canadian Tire money (which he'd never have to pay due to the "independent" arbitrator being a hometeam fan).
I dunno about that. It took them a heck of a long time to finally get the touchdown, I doubt any team practices defensive strategies against lateral passes anyway. Which obviously in my book is a good reason to use it much more often.
