Default Congratulations to Kimi Raikkonen

I'm not sure if anybody else on here is an F1 fanatic, but I love watching F1 almost as much as I love watching the Flames.

Anyways, this was probably one of the most exciting seasons I've been able to witness. To think we'd see a 3 way fight for the World Driver's Championship in the last race.

Incredible! Congratulations to Ferrari and Kimi

thrilled that Kimi and Ferrari won the drivers and constructors championship! After all the crap and shenanigans pulled by McLaren and the juvenile feud betwen Hamilton and Alonso, this could not have been a more appropriate ending to the F1 season

Realistically Kimi deserved it after all his early season car troubles making him not finish the race. As long as Alonso didn't win it, I'm happy with the result.

I agree this was the most interesting F1 season I've seen in a long time. I was pulling for Hamilton, but the kid really lost it last race in China driving into the gravel trap.

I'm also glad that Alonso didn't win.

$@%@ (%^$%!!

I stay away from all media all day because I set the PVR to record the race so that I could watch the race tonight. Then I go into the off-topic forum (purposefully avoiding the "Other Sports" forum) only to see the thread that was moved from the Off-Topic section .

I guess I have 1 1/2 hours to spend on something else tonight...

I'm glad Ron Dennis got nothing out of today. Hope he enjoys the last place garage stalls next year. It's going to be cramped.

Congrats to Kimi. He really deserves it. He's had so much bad luck in the past with McLaren and their fragile cars they've let him down in the past.

It's not over yet!

McLaren is apealling a ruling that may disqualify three drivers from the Brazilian GP. If it goes thru, Hamilton would move up to 4th and have enough points to win the Championship.

http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/news_s...221152&hubname=

Fuel on board a car may not be more than 10-degrees Celsius below the ambient temperature. Readings from Nick Heidfeld's car showed his fuel was as much as 13-degrees below allowable temperatures while one of Robert Kubica's readings was 14-degrees below.
However, the stewards ruled that there was not enough concrete evidence to prove that the temperature readings taken were accurate. They added that with sufficient doubt it would be inappropriate to impose a penalty.
The disqualification of Nico Rosberg, Kubica and Heidfeld would have been enough to elevate Hamilton up to fourth in the final standings, which would have given him more points than race winner Kimi Raikkonen, giving him the F1 title.
