I had an NES emulator on my computer a while ago, it's alright but not the same. I'd rather have the original controller in my hands and play on my TV.

If you can find Rock N' Ball or Super Spike V-Ball, pick em up. Both super fun games.

If you MOD an old Xbox (all you need is a memory card) you can get a Big Emulator Disk With all NES, SNES, Genesis, trubografix and atari games all on one DVD. Play on your tv with a controller (albeit an xbox one). You can also get a DVD with about 100 N64 games. As with computer, you can Save State whenever you want. Look into it.

as someone said Ebay.
Quite often there is a console plus a load of games up for sale. Right now there is one with 42 games.
6 months or so ago there was actually an NES with every single accessory (power glove even) and nearly every game ever released in north America on Ebay.

Dr. Mario is the game of choice for me. Unbelievable how much a little pill can be so much fun. If you can find it, it is a great game to pick up and play against friends. Much better than tetris. We ahd to stop playing though cause the darn dog figured the controllers wire would be a good chew toy

Heads up on the Wii Virtual Console. They have starting to add neo geo games. Can't wait for Samurai Show down.

That does sound kinda cool, but I like the idea of playing the original system. And somehow I know it won't be simple or quick with the mod.
I called my brother up last night, all of our old NES games are in an old shed. I'm going to snag them when I go back for Christmas.

If you really want to play with the controller there is a way to mod it up to USB.
I hate blowing in the damn game just to have it freeze up anyways.
Although this looks cool
So does this
Edit: I have a powerglove that I have been toying with the idea of putting up on ebay...
