I just saw a story about these on channel 8... wow, looks like the R&D has gone very well.
Studies suggest significant performance enhancements.
They have Gretzky as a promoter of the product.
Now I want to try these.
Such a simple idea, why didn't I think of this?!

I don't know, it sounds to me like it's just one step away from happening with several players being asked by the NHL to try them out in practice.
I really feel for the hockey parents on this one... another $350 investment that the kids are going to be begging for because some other guy on the team has a set and stakes pretty good.

No it's different from the t-blade. this has a small electronic mechanism that it powered by a battery that heats up the bottom of the blade creating a water barrier between the ice and the blade. I would like to try it

These seem like a great idea. I wonder how the internal circuit boards stand up to such things as shots blocked with the skate? They seem destined for the NHL.

That's interesting, especially considering the hype. Wonder what'll happen to the company now. Without the NHL, it's definitely going to be hard.
