Was it this festival that had The Killers on Toronto Island last month? This should be good, and just before Stampede as well.

Considering the utter crap the Stampede Board waists their money on, this should be DURING Stampede.

As long as the people who are in charge of the embarrassments that have become of concert experiences at Mac Hall aren't in charge of this festival, I just might go.
I guess if the lineup doesn't suck, that will help as well.

This is going to be huge!!!
Based on previous year lineups, there will be 1-2 MAJOR bands headlining each day and many many indie rock and lesser known bands in support.
In addition, its always a good mix of alternative rock, indie, rap, and electronica.
Interesting venue though. I haven't been to Ft. Calgary but isn't it quite small? That area is also frequented by homeless, so they'll have to do a good job with security to keep the area safe.
Also close to downtown, so access may be a problem?

They hold the stampede round up there every year which is one of the Stampedes biggest parties and Fort Calgary does a great job

Cool, I didn't know that!
I'm just guessing, but I assume the festival would have 2-3 stages, beer gardens, shops, food carts etc.
Similar to the setup they have at Race City for Vans Warped Tour.
All I know about Ft. Calgary is from what I see from the bike paths, which is probably quite limited!

True, but I was thinking more along the lines of tour busses and semi-trailers full of equipment.
But I guess if they get all that stuff to Stampede Park for Stampede, it wont be that much of a problem!
