Hard Rock Cafe - Pretty cool if you've never been to one (the one in Calgary doesn't count; different company)
|
Calgary hasn't had a Hard Rock Cafe for about 5 years.
To boot, all of the Hard Rock Cafes in Canada are the real deal now as the Rank Corporation (owner of Hard Rock Cafe America) purchased Hard Rock Canada in 1996. [/b][/quote]
You are correct. Sorry I didn't make that clearer.

Ok, Here is my site with pictures from Hawaii. My wife didn't want her picture shown off to strangers and I didn't argue, so yes I know that there are some dead links to the pictures. I just couldn't be bothered to change the source code.
Oh, and I build this site in 3 hours of total work so don't be expecting anything fancy, it is basic html code. I'd do the site differently if I had the time but I don't.
Aloha!

No worries, and thanks for the pics! Didn't know some of Raiders of the lost Ark was filmed in Hawaii!
looks amazing there.

The lava rocks are supposedly cursed if you take them. Bad luck and all....or something like that.

You know i'm taking a rock now... I always take something as a souvineer from my trips... took a small piece of the courtyard Wall from Alcatraz. Probably not cursed but I think it's cool to have a piece of something that housed Al Capone.
OR maybe I can take one, and put it near the Away bench at the Dome to curse every away team that comes into town!
Muwahahaha!

well, apparently people mail back about 5 tons of rocks per year to hawaii. I guess a lot of people did experience some sort of bad luck. Supposedly the volcano goddess can only be appeased if you return the rocks.

I know it's just an Urban Legend....
Heres the link.
....but it sounds plausible. Also, snopes is a very good site, it has tonnes of references. I encourage you to take a look around.

As said by almost everyone, my recommendation is Maui. One of my favourite places in the world.
The problem with Hawaii, though, is that its so popular and crowded that it kind of takes away from the relaxing "feel." On that note, I found Mexico to be a little less crowded.

I found Kauii to be the most laid back of the islands I've been to. My cousin concurs with me, she goes once a year and prefers Kauii over the others. However, like I said before try to spend at least a week on Kaui and a week on Maui if you can work it out that way.
