If Peter can absorb powers... who's to say Hiro can't. Maybe Hiro was unaware that he can heal others?

The only major issue I have with the twins arc is that it's moving bloody slow. Other than that I don't think they've shown enough for me to say I outright hate it.

I hate it, in part because I can't stand it when shows that already have huge casts randomly introduce new characters. Like the random couple on Lost who ultimately got killed off--but why they were there in the first place, no-one knows.

I hate it because they look like they're about to make out when they stare into each other's eyes. Creepy . . .

I have the feeling Sarash explained everything to the Haitian that got him to erase his memory so that he wouldn't have to try and lie about it to his boss

I'm pretty sure Suresh did lie to his boss and that was the plan along, hence the "He still thinks I'm the bumbling professor" comment. I doubt he had his memory erased at all.

They seriously need to drop all the female characters from the show. Im not saying this to be sexist, but because all the females (especially the chearleader) are on repeat from last season, whereas Hiro, Peter, Sylar, Sarash and the cop have all undergone significant character and environmental changes....and are all played by talented actors as opposed to eye candy.
I want to stab that flying boy in the face, do we really have to put up with this crap so they can get some preteen ratings/sponsors?

I mostly agree with you, with Ali Larter being the exception.
They really need to do something with the Claire character beyond the typical teenage angst crap. Peter is the most interesting storyline, the rest is rather boring for the moment.
Drop some characters, tighten the story or the show will suffer.

From the preview it looks like the opposite will come to pass. Introducing NEW heroes!
This season needs a sense of purpose. It's missing so far. Just a bunch of random stories going in their own directions.

The first season was a series of seemingly unrelated stories until first the "Save The Cheerleader" and then the larger story of saving NYC emerged. But we saw the destruction of NYC in the cliffhanger for episode two last year. Nothing has come close to that yet. Though next episode looks promising.
Lots of soapy romantic nonsense tonight. A pretty bad episode all in all.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good, and I'm happy to see that the Heroes are expanding beyond the United States. I like seeing how these powers are linking people around the world, and not just Americans.
Also, I think a bloodline / family tree is developing with the Nakamura's and the Petrellis.....We know that Hiro's dad and Peter's mom have slept together (or something like that), and that Takezo Kensei has the same regeneration abilities as Claire, who is the daughter of Nathan Petrelli. It's a conspiracy, but I can have fun speculating =)
Also....PLEASE KILL OFF ALI LARTER'S CHARACTER...She is by far the most useless character in the show, and the whole Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde power is dumb at best; she's just a really strong schizophrenic. LAME.

To go more into the foreshadowing... Last season in the look to the future episode, we wondered where Sylar got his shapeshifting abilites. Maybe he got them tonight, but then again... Nathan Petrelli was in office in that episode. K, I'm compfussed...

It is off to a shallow start, but I don't think they could replicate the excitement of discovery from the first season. It's kind of like having sex for the first time; it will never be the "same" thereafter.
I thought them foreshadowing horn rimmed glasses dying was a big step in the the right direction, and they developed the columbian emo girls character by showing an evil side to her.
Did anybody else think that scene with Peter yelling "Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt!" (or something like that) was paying homage to that infamous you tube video with all the RPG nerds?

Are you guys serious? I think they've done a lot w/ Claire's character in that last episode. She went from being a daddy's girl to the girl who potentially murders her dad. That's a pretty big step IMO

What a downfall for Sylar, from threat to the whole world, to fat chick killa.
