Duke lacross players file suit against city and DA

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Three former Duke lacrosse players falsely accused of rape filed a federal lawsuit Friday against disgraced prosecutor Mike Nifong, the city of Durham and the police detectives who handled the investigation.


The lawsuit calls the criminal case against Reade Seligmann, Collin Finnerty and Dave Evans "one of the most chilling episodes of premeditated police, prosecutorial and scientific misconduct in modern American history."

About damn time. That DA should pay through the nose for what he's done to these poor kids.

Reminds me of a joke my buddy and I have in the office. Someone will ask a question about who someone is and we'll look at each other and go "Hmmm...if only there was some vast system of information that was available to the public at all times and was connected via some sort of mass networking scheme."
