that said, it created some good discussion.

Unlike J-pold, I don't have a sister. Frankly I thank God every day that I don't, if there ever was a situation like a 22yr old hooking up with my sister when she was 16 . . . well they'd never find the body . . . if they did dental records would be required for identification.

Its not morally acceptable for most of us, of course, but if she's over 14 and he's not in a position of trust (dad's friend, doctor, etc) or authority (police, school teacher etc) and she's actively pursueing him, our disgusting law says it's okay.

My guess would be the revenue earned from the amount of people going to the website? Does that work? The more traffic generated the more money you get from advertisers on the site?

I could be mistaken

Funny how it's such a perversion if a 16 year old and a 22 year old hook up, but an 18 year old and a 24 year old is fine in the books.
Often times, people equate the age of consent with adult age. And with the way society works these days, that line is often hard to distinguish.

BTW, I'm not condoning it in anyways, but given that's completely legal, there's not much that can be done about it. Leave it to her parents if she can't make a rational decision.

BTW live in Iceland for a few years, they got it right when it comes to sexuality, maturity, etc.. Never seen people so relaxed about teenagers and their own sexualities.

You'd have to live there to get it, no point in trying to explain it.

So who's gonna be the first one to say they're moving to Iceland?
And those pics, MQS, out of line! I feel like I belong in jail for seeing those, good gawd... although some of those girls could be 18, we don't know. The thong one is pretty nice, I'm not gonna lie |

We have a 16 year-old-daughter, and we've tried to teach her to make the right and responsible decisions and abstain from sex until she's at least 18, or older if she wishes to be celibate until married. But we're not fools either ... some 16-year-olds are going to experiment with sex. So we're tried to teach her to make the right and responsible decisions in that situation too ... ie, safe sex. We don't encourage that option, but we're not going to stick out heads in the sand and ignore it's possibility either. Personally, I'd rather she have a boyfriend who is a good kid, but having safe sex with her and treating her with respect, than for her to date someone who is going to treat her like dirt, or kill her while driving impaired, or get her hooked on crack. There are worse things in the world than 16-year-olds having sex.

I most certainly have had both a son and a daughter at that age. BUT, we are not talking about a 16 year old here, we are talking about a 22 year old wanting to have sex with someone who is considerably younger than him.

I raised my children as you have described raising your children. I am not naive as to what went on then or what goes on now. BUT, if you are teaching your children to treat the opposite sex with respect, and it works both ways, then why at 22 are we having an issue of him wanting to have sex with someone considerably younger than him, someone who might be a minor and not of the age of consent.

You try to lay the groundwork during the difficult teenage years and then hopefully they have the decision process to make responsible decisions at the age of 22.

I misunderstood you ... sorry. I thought you were talking about 16 year old boys. I agree completely that a 22 year old boy wanting to have sex with a minor is a different situation altogether. Sounds like we're on the same wavelength.

I naturally assume that every younger sister of anyone I know is hot . . . so far I've been correct 100% of the time.

			Let's see...

Half your age +7 = your minimum "allowable" (street rules).

 22 divided by 2 = 11. So 11+7 = 18.

Nope. This guy is officially a pedo. The math don't lie. Organize a posse and get ready for giving out a beat down.
