Yeah the plug on the back of the xbox is proprietary, and it only comes with a component one by default (the Elites and some of the newest ones come with an HDMI plug as well).

Seems like you took direct offense to the comment. I wasn't the only one to post such a comment, why only re-hash my comment? Huh, what's your problem? Look at you with 6 experience boxes, I only got two, U freakin geek. Are you trying to say only nerds frequent a hockey site? Maybe ex-hockey players and fans do? I'm not calling the general population who plays Halo 3 geeks, I'd understand your comments may be warranted if that were the case. However these nerds are actually lining up to get the game, and to quote some of them "to brag that their the first ones who have it" or to "stick their tongues out at others". Anyhow good for them, besides, all I wrote was haha nerds, read some of the other way harsher comments you blowjob.

Not that I'm offended or anything, but I find it kind of funny how some people feel the need to call people "geeks" and "nerds" in this thread. What are we, in junior high? Although I guess to be fair, some people in here probably are that young. But why do people have to label other people just because they enjoy different hobbies?

Anyone know WalMart's return policy? I should never have bought the game, but I opened it and played it to see if I could be converted.

Boy am I ever glad I only rented it! This game is good, ya 10 yrs ago! Its so outdated, graphics and sound wise...my god this game is the most overrated game ive ever played. Im already bored of it and just finished the first level. I think this rental that i was planning on keeping for a month will be short lived, I dont think i can even finish the SP so im just about done with it. Im already back playing my NHL 08. Its pathetic how companies can put out rehashed junk and pump up the hype like theres no tommorow.

Any good reviews yet?
The people saying it's bad seem to be the same people who were bashing it before it was even out, so I won't judge by those comments.
Maybe the lack of feedback meens most people are too busy playing it to post about it, which would suggest it's quite good.

I played it for a bit at a friends house today. When I first saw it, I thought we were playing the 2nd halo. Nothing really new here. Feel bad for all the fans who had so much hype for the game.

I haven't played this game yet, but there seems to be a lot of negative attitudes towards it..despite it getting amazing reviews. I'm not sure what people were really expecting, its the third part of a series, with the same lead character, same style of game...its not like they were going to completely alter it. Its gonna take another developer with a completely new idea to really knock people's socks off again. Doesn't mean Halo 3 can't be a well produced and fun game to play. I'm looking forward to trying it.

Is it safe to say Bioshock is still game of the year? Bioshock was great. I have a copy on reserve, but now I'm wondering if I should rent it.

IMO bioshock (even gears too) destroys Halo 3, but we all know with all the hype there is no way H3 will not win the GOTY

Not saying its bad, but its grossly overrated and its just an "ok" game. I would give it a 5/10. Just makes you re-appreciate just how damn good of a game GOW really is. Like I said, Halo 3 is an ok game, not mind blowing like all the websites claim it to be. If they made this in say 1999 yes, but in todays day and age? Hardly.
Graphics are on par with Perfect dark zero (no jokes) and the sound quality is is good as Goldeneye on the N64.

well, i went down and got it last night at 1215 at FS on 170 st in greasieville.
i got 2 shirts, a hat, halo, and fantastic 4 silver surfer game. not bad.
i was easily the oldest in line. easily.
and for all of the people that don't get halo or don't like halo...have at it!
i think its a great game so far; online and offline. but that's me. i won't be posting 8 times here to tell you that.
its halo. nothing more, nothing less.
