Things go nut and banana at Sabre's practice
Looks like the frustrations of being perpetually bad are boiling over
There's a reason why teams are hesitant on Kane. He might be a physical package with a lot of skills, but it just seems that he's unlikable for the wrong reasons.

The Sabres are a complete mess, they have made zero progress each year with Eichel. They have a lot of garbage on that team and desperately need to clean house. That Okposo contract is Lucic level bad, probably worse. Eichel is a great player but he can only do so much at such a young age in regards to leading a team with so many misfits and headcases. Ristoleinen has been pure garbage this entire season. Gotta think O'reilly will be out the door sometime soon as well.

Kane is a locker room cancer and #### human being. I feel awful that sabres fans have to deal with that clown, hopefully he's traded to Vancouver for 3 1st round picks or something else stupid.

Yikes. They are turning into the oilers of the east.
Big Billionaire owner comes in to spend money and save the day. Team makes high profile moves that backfire and they end up having to go into scorched earth rebuild mode.
That rebuild fails miserably and they are forced to turf the original "rebuild GM" and start over.
Quite a gong show for nearly a decade now.

You can find comparable skill level wingers to Kane. I'm not sure why a considerable group of Flames fans are so gung ho on him.
Career high 57 points in his 3rd year, 6 years ago.
I should stay clear of distractions if I were a GM.

This doesn’t really sound “nut and banana” to me. It sounds like a scrum broke out. This happens in the NHL all the time. Montreal did this at their practice in Calgary and there wasn’t a thread on it.

I was surprised at how many people on this site were all for Kane coming here. I get that he is the type of player we could use, but I think his personality is the last thing this locker room needs. At least that's my impression from the outside looking in. He seems like a class A dbag.

... because he has a combination of skill, physical dominance, and truculance that a bunch of fans like?
You can hate on Kane for his personality all you want but it's impossible to deny that he has attributes that a certain section of hockey fans prize highly.
