Opportunity lost for Ghana. They should have put the Diggers out of the tournament.

Yeah. Ghana's weakness coming into the tournament was a lack of good strikers and it has been true. They've scored both their goals on penalties.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. How much of a delay on the cbc website until on demand matches are available? (Want to watch the holland japan game).

Lot's of heart shown by the Aussies. Could have won the game with their positive attitude. Good to see.

who is the interviewer?

To the Aussie coach: "How much did the penalty and red card affect your gameplan?"

Makes hockey questions genius!

They more or less did. Socceroos have to win and Germany has to lose. Hard to see that happening. It's too bad, I really enjoyed watching the Aussies this morning. That was a very entertaining game.

That was a fun game to watch, regardless. The Aussies had a few great chances to win as well.

The disharmony in the French squad makes even the English seem harmonious!

Anelka was criticized for his first half performance by Domenech and told the coach "go screw yourself, you dirty son of a whore!" He was then substituted and refuses to apologize.

Holy crap. The Irish must be loving this.

A brave performance for the Aussies. Now the Germans HAVE to beat them to progress. Serbia should beat Australia, but I don't want to underestimate them like we did Ghana.

Yeah. I'm looking forward to the Cameroon/Netherlands game (as long as Cameroon wins or draws this game) as they won't be able to sit back and defend if they want to advance...should open up the game a bit for the dutch.

Benzema was supposedly a bigger cancer within the team during qualifying

Good, I bet 2+ goals in the first half. They didn't disappoint.

With Cameroon's loss, Holland is automatically through to the final 16! Probably won't see Robben then in the last match, wonder if they'll sit anyone else.
