Once again I extend my most sincere thanks to whomever it was in Adirondack that thought Scorch was a good idea....do they know how much we love Scorchy?
I see that Ferland is RFA next year. He earned himself a nice payday.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
Just watching last night's telecast... Hrudey just compared Ferland to Clarke Gillies. That's what I've been saying for 2 years Hrudey! Well played, good sir.
Ferland - Bennett - Poirier
and it would be the 2nd line!!!!!

That line gives me goosebumps. Oh the potential there. And my god the chaos it would bring.
Question. I've watched the Ferland hit on Bikesa when he knocks him off the puck in the Vancouver zone a few times. Ferly's shoulder hits Bikesa directly in the chin and doesn't look to hit shoulder at all. How is that considered a clean hit?

When I watched the game I loved the hit, I'll admit a lot of that came from the fact that it was Bieksa, but it looked clean.
When I watch the highlights you are entirely correct, he makes primary contact with Cornelius' head.
However, theres no way the refs could have seen that, we only see it because of the placement of the cameras.
That was a missed call.

Chin and chest at the same time. Not unsuspecting, from the front (not blindside), almost all force was absorbed by the chest.
