How TF is there no market for Gostisbehere, but you pay a 1st and 2nd for Ristolainen.

But, Buffalo. Who doesn't look bad in Buffalo. That's the only positive to hang my hat on.

Wow This is likely the best case study in analytics possible.

Risto played on just a crap team full of Crap D-men where he was asked to carry the full load.

In 2019-20 with the best group of d-men in his stay in Buffalo: Dahlin, McCabe, Montour and Colin Miller he lead the team in ice time and was a -2 with 33 pts in 69 games.

This last season Montour getting traded to Florida made him into an analytics monster jumping his CF% from 47 to 57.

Risto playing with Provorov , Ellis, Braun and Sanheim will be a brand new experience for him

I think I'd rather have Gostisbehere (sp?) than Ristolainen when you add in all of those picks.
