Yeah, at the end of the day, I have a doctor, I have a great health plan and am in good health regardless, I have a great job that is pretty immune to whoevever is in power and doesn’t tie me to Alberta if I wanted to leave (I don’t) and I live in the suburbs.

On a selfish level, while I’ll be sad for those who wanted different, I’ll get to have a good laugh at middle class and lower class UCP voters whose lives get worse over the next four years.

Bolded true, but I have never seen anyone claim the unbolded in any way. That's what I think is craziest about this all. There's not a rabid group of NDP supporters who will dive on grenades for rachel or anything stupid like that. It's just choosing to NOT support bigots. It's really that simple. Instead, we supported bigots.

No narrative, that is what occured. There are now bigots (Wastedyouth agreed on this point if you want an opposite take that agrees here) elected and in power in our government. It is possible that some of these bigots are given important cabinet positions. Frankly I would say it is likely to appease the TBA portion of caucus.

I agree, we have no choice now to but "see how it works" for us. I personally think it's going to work out incredibly poorly, but we're stuck now. The only thing i'm taking exception to in this thread is this shirking of responsibility. NO! you voted UCP, you're a bigot. Accept it.
