Yeah, I gave her the scale! I took a look at a flower store, but it was insanity. I figured that she knows me well enough to realise that I wasn't taking a shot at her or anything. Plus we work out a lot and it is something that she wanted. I tried to cushion the blow though, with chocolates (which is a bad mix with a scale).
She is a great girl though; she thinks its funny that I would give that combination of gifts and didn't take offence. (Phew!)
