Seriously, read the entire post, then attempt a smart ass comment.
Semantics. Haha okay maybe not EVERY PGT...how about 90% haha and even in the crap games someone finds a positive spin. I'm sure if you go back and read the entire thread before attempting to be a smart ass you will see that.

If games were won on effort alone (some are mind you - but you get what I mean) then the Flames would have won fairly easily last night. But when it came down to it, we just don't have the quality to punish teams and press home our territorial advantage.

For all the time we spent up in the Anaheim end - almost all the best chances seemed to come in front of Kiprusoff.

For all the talk about the playoffs, the Flames are as close to 27th overall in the league as they are to a playoff spot. Like I said in an earlier post, the Flames are about 5 games away from having to win 2 out of every 3 for the rest of the year. And with the exception of Kipper and Backlund this team has been healthy, probably lost amongst the fewest man games to injury of almost any team in the NHL.
Lets hope...and be careful out there man. The blindly faithful posters out there are going to attack you for being realistic.

I guess they can hold their heads high though because they are within very real striking distance of us. Priceless.

Flames played well in 2 periods outshooting the Ducks and pretty much dominating the game. Unfortunately they couldn't score. I guess I spoke too soon on my praise to Blake Comeau last game. The guy does not have any hockey sense at all. With his two linemates Cammy and Tanguay already went to the bench for a long time, Comeau stayed on the ice and played with the next line just skating like his head cut off on the corner. Then he let his man go Winnick go close to the net untouched and Winnick ended up scoring. What the heck is doing playing over a minute in one shift?
Too bad for the Flames for not scoring in those two dominating periods. I thought they played well. You can see Cervenka's confidence getting higher and same goes to Brodie and Smith tandem. Ducks goalie was lucky and good. I just stopped watching after the 2nd because I can't stand watching the puck bouncing around for both teams. With the score 3-0 I didn't think they would be able to come back.

No worries. I've been silenced by warnings in my pm's from expressing my views and opinions...unless of course they are inline with the cheer leading posts. It's apparently unacceptable to express opinions on an open forum. It's also not acceptable to insult posters who are fine with the teams direction...but it's acceptable to insult those in the pro rebuild camp.

I'm assuming the 2 warnings I received are a precursor to banning me from the forum...in which case...if I'm going to be banned for speaking my mind about this team, or pushed in a certain direction in regards to my posts...then it's not a forum I want to be part of and in fact is not a "forum" at all.

There are no martyrs here Wess, your opinion is shared by a large percentage of people here. You just kinda come across aggressively.

What Nik said. Just be respectful and you'll have no problems with anyone.

It's one thing to believe that a rebuild would be a good thing for the franchise and be able to meaningfully articulate what a rebuild might look like in terms of Calgary's assets and position.

It's entirely a separate thing to throw around the word 'rebuild' in some sort of "We'll tank and get two players like Crosby and Malkin or Kane and Toews and then win Cups until they fall out our butts" sense of the word.

Since you seem to want this to be public.

Of course this is completely false, you were given one warning for insulting someone, and one to reign it in and express your opinions in a positive way.

It's entirely possible to have a negative opinion of the team and express them in a mature fashion (as demonstrated by others posting in the "Something's gotta give" thread) and the warning was a reminder to please do that.

Again there are thousands of people expressing their opinions before and after your posts in a way that contributes positively to the threads they are in, so clearly you are completely wrong. And warnings and infractions have been handed out regardless of what "camp" they are in (that you even feel the need to allocate people into a camp is a problem).

Some (or even all, there hasn't been a poll) of the mods could be classified into a "pro-rebuild" camp.

And finally it's not an "open forum", it's a private forum. Opinions are expressed all the time, they should be expressed in a positive way though and not a disruptive or destructive way.

No, your tantrum in response to getting a few warnings (not even infractions) earned you a suspension. If you can't respond to moderators in a mature and adult fashion then there's no reason for the moderators to waste their time.

Seeing it as "I got banned for my negative opinion" is a view only in your mind.

If you really thought this forum wasn't a place you would want to be, you'd just leave rather than post as you did, and you certainly wouldn't have tried to register a brand new account right after being suspended which you did do.

tl;dr version: throw a tantrum and act like a martyr just because a moderator warned you for insulting others and to back off the aggressive and disruptive posting style (not content), don't expect to be around for long.
