I think his style of over-enthusiastic screeching can be a bit much, but for those that have listened to him on the Fan for years- you know he IS a very knowledgable and level-headed Flames follower. I'd say he's a huge Flames fan as well, but has enough journalistic experience to recognize weaknesses as well as give credit to other teams.

He's a super hockey fan though- and does seem to be better now than he was at the start of his PBP career. I think he just still tries a bit too hard- and will hopefully find the confident (and slightly calmer) voice he seems to have on the radio.

It is somewhat disturbing to know that so many people spend that amount of energy to critiquing the commentary while a HOCKEY GAME is on, and then waging campaigns to get a person terminated.

He's really pretty enjoyable, and most of those "WTF" moments are just awesome and extremely memorable. "It's not in the neeeeeeeet." Seriously? If you're not reflecting on that and giggling incessantly you may not have a soul.

I think he needs testosterone replacement therapy.

Too high pitched, whiny and overly dramatic.

I think he is just fine.

After what happened with Lobo, I cringe at these threads.

Kerr isn't great, but from the crap I've read on this board, Danny Gallivan wouldn't be good enough here.

I love how Charlie Simmer always avoids getting pooped on in these threads. Maybe he is so utterly bad that people figure it isn't even worth their time to complain about him too.

How do you figure? Based on the responses to your resurrection of an 18-month-old thread, I would say that nobody seems to care enough to further your complaint.

There was already a thread on this subject on the first page. Don't bump your own threads, particularly when they are pretty dumb to start.
