It's all fair - we just have to earn our respect in the playoffs this year. If we do, just like the Jets this year, we'll be noticed and mentioned as a top team next year.

At this point I think NYI is more of a favourite than PIT, since PIT may not even make the playoffs.

Calgary has a +49 goal differential across 62 games.
Vegas has a +4 goal differential across 63 games.

I don't think Ryan Reeves is making up the difference here in a seven game series.

If the Knights can beat us, it's because Fleury can steal a series, not because they're more physical.

As for San Jose, they're not an especially physical team. They're just a damn good team that is no more physical than ours.

Subban started that game yes. Dominek Hasek in his prime wouldn’t have helped the Knights in that game. They were absolutely atrocious. That game was 7-2 only because the Flames stopped caring halfway through the second period. If the Flames had even remotely tried for the last half of the game, they easily would have got to 10.
