I may be wrong(someone correct me), but I think Tkachuk is our only forward who has scored a goal in the last 3 games(I know Monahan scored tonight, but it got waived off lol). The defensemen with the other goals. Hamilton mostly.

Lomberg is better than Brouwer. Kulak had a bad game. Rittich wasn’t good, but didn’t have much help either. They need to get rid of the offside review all together. Lots of missed calls tonight. The third line had one great shift, and that was it. Defensive disaster tonight.

So I’m as disappointed as anyone tonight, but to be clear from this thread, with 20 games to go and a staggering 4 point gap, there is literally zero chance we make the post-season.

Sportsclubstats has them at 26.4% chance. It’s not zero, but it’s also not good.

Considering that every team we’re competing with is playing way better hockey and taking care of their own business while we get trounced by teams like Florida and Vegas without 3 of their good players then yeah realism should kick in.

Felt bad for Rittich, he's played well under the circumstances (since being called up in general) and you could see he knew he let the team down tonight.

Hopefully he can rebound, because if Smith is out indefinitely this could get rough.
