Stupid undisciplined penalty by Nurse. Perfect Oiler.

I was going to comment on how Nurse has looked pretty good, but what a stupid penalty to take. My goodness.

Obviously there is a group of people in Quebec that aren't Patriotic (there are groups in every Province btw). Id have to live under a rock to not realize that. To suggest that is the reason they aren't selling games out in Montreal is ignorant.

To put is as simple as I can. If a large group, big enough to impact ticket sales to these games, in Montreal would rather cheer for a team called the Québécois, then why wouldn't they change the name of the Canadiens to the Québécois?

As I type this a "Canada" chant starts out at the Bell Center. If you have anything more to add PM me, otherwise let's drop your language issues please.
I don't need to PM you, you can put me on ignore if you'd prefer, but I'm going to continue this conversation here.

To your point about the "chant" reigning out in the un-sold out Bell Centre, obviously the folks who's disposition would not have them cheering for a Team Canada are not going to be in attendance at the game. As for your question about the Canadiens, it's an interesting one, but hardly one that proves anything. Also, in French, they don't really refer to the Canadiens as the Canadiens, they refer to them as the Les Habitans, so maybe that's the answer.

Also agree there are people who are more Provincially aligned in each province, but you'd have to be crazy not to understand that it's a far more prevalant and substantial position in the province of Quebec, a province where separation from Canada has been a forefront issue for decades.

I'm not going to assign a % to how many in the city of Montreal don't want to cheer for a team Canada, but I will go so far to say that it's not insignificant. And just like anything, it's never black and white, it's always a scale. People can fall anywhere from Patriotic Quebecois who hate Canada, to Patriotic French Canadians who love Canada, and everything that falls in between. But I'm confident enough to say, that there are enough people probably not passionate enough in the province of Quebec about supporting Team Canada that it would impact ticket sales. It's just basic economics, its just another factor that shinks your available market willing to pay the steep prices for tickets, impacting supply and demand.

But as you continue to argue, I can see where you've gone astray and why you keep failing. You assumed my original comment meant the following:
- All Quebecois were not patriotic Canadians - I said nothing of the sort, you assumed your bad
- I thought the different potential beliefs in Quebec were a bad thing - I said nothing of the sort, I am not offended by the different cultural and political views that exist in Quebec (nor am I passionate about them), again you assumed, your bad.

So if acknowledging the fact that there are different beliefs, cultural view points in Quebec when it comes to Canada is something ignorant to do, then I guess I'm fine with being ignorant, but I really don't think it is.

The plan must be to go after Eichel in between whistles. Been doing it all game and Eichel hasn't been giving back

Dumb dumb penalty by Darnell Nurse. He must learned his bad discipline from the Oilers organization. They better kill this penalty.

I have never been a Demko fan but he has been great in this game.

Having said that, it is a long way from the WJC to the NHL. There are goalies that star in this tournament every year that we never hear from again (with respect to the NHL)
