Seem like more. Mind you, because of the wind, I can still see some grass here at work. There's definitely some drifting going on...

We finally got a small bit here in the South Okanagan in Osoyoos. Next time my wife complains to me that it's too boring living here, I'll show here Dion's pictures to show here why we were motivated to leave Alberta in the first place. Although I did get the winter tires on the vehicle two nights ago so my timing was good. Taking out my back doing it...that wasn't so good!

The issue is visability.

Some friends and I are hoping to drive up to Sunshine tomorrow morning for some skiing, hopefully road conditions impove, because the ski hills should be great tomorrow.

Just drove to Timmy's and back. Roads are much better than last Friday night. No ice, just lots of snow on the road. Slow, but still easy going.

When rush hour hits I predict mass chaos still ensues!

Not sure when. I was thinking of bumping the snuggie thread to see if anyone received a snuggie yet.

Holy crap. So going North on Deerfoot, right after the Beddington turn-off it is a total nightmare. Basically a whiteout, I could say like 20 feet ahead of me.

The annoying thing is this: we're doing 60-80Kph, well below the speed limit for obvious reasons. There is a turn-on on to deerfoot after the beddington turn-off. Someone doing LITERALLY 10KPH is trying to get in, of course in front of me. I slow down to let him in (I can see his hands in the back window telling me he wants to get in). I am doing 70+ more than he but I am slamming on the brakes to slow down to let him in, and then when he gets in he gets over to the other lane and I take the off ramp to Country Hills. His friend (the guy who was making the hand signals from the passenger seat) then flips me off. Like wtf is wrong with people?

Then I almost got into an accident because someone at THE LAST second decided he didn't want to turn right, and he wanted to turn left instead, so he swoops over back into the lane I am in, with literally a mm room in front of me, me hard as a mother on the brakes, there is no traction so I have to turn to the left, basically brushing the curb to pass him now (because I still can't brake). I look over at him and he doesn't even look phased, just "this is normal" face.

Fack people don't know how to drive. Using caution is one thing, but fataing pay bloody attention. And don't cut me off when I am doing 90Kph on Deerfoot, your doing 50 and you want to pass 1 BLOODY CAR and then continue to pass him doing 55Kpn, then take 2 minutes to pass him and move in front of him.

Lucky me my job consists of driving around the SW, through side roads and alleys. Lets just say today was good times. Crowchild and 50th ave I LITERALLY couldn't see 3 ft in front of me. That was the scariest part but otherwise with winter tires if you drive slow its fine.

I wish I could hibernate this weekend but I have to work tomorrow and have an xmas party and b-day party. *sigh*
