Not sure about any intimidation angle but Peluso had a solid game on the ice...That shift in the offensive zone by the fourth line was amazing and his forcheck started it.

I think the guy is more of a player than some give him credit for...he also looked solid in the pre-season

Best game I've seen from this franchise in a while, and I really like what I'm seeing from the forwards especially. Excellent effort from pretty much everyone tonight.

Smith looks like he's back to his old form, which is a very positive sign going forward.

Johnny doing Johnny things all night. Man, we're lucky to have this guy.

Man. It does feel that way. A couple of playoffs goals for sure. one against the Ducks.

PK was huge!! Best sequence of the Flames' young season thus far.

Gaudreau was physical all night. He was wacking people back and took a few big hits to make some nice plays. Came away with 3 assists.

Smith has become Jesus again. Great timing.

The PP played a role in winning us the game. Is this real life??

Preds broadcast did a solid job. Gave lots of praise and respect to the Flames and especially Smith. It's on my bucket list to watch a game in their arena. Seemed like a a rockin' place all night.

Love how a lot of our defense was composed of young kids, and played such a solid and poised game against a top team in NSH, and seeing them put in some important roles. The defense is definitely a bright spot for the future.

For the first time ever, the Flames lead Vegas in the standings.

Bennett played a good game. He is much stronger this year. Speaking of strong Limholm is a stud, he goes hard after pucks and wins battle after battle with his strength.

He doesn't have to, just his presence is enough. Didn't see Rinaldo running around like the clown he is.

You're naive you think the Preds didn't know he was on the bench. You play different knowing that. Didn't you watch the first game?

This is what happens when you have good special teams - you win games that you otherwise would lose. The Flames 'played great' because they scored on the 2 on the PP and gave up none.
I like it.
If PP doesn't score, the house is on fire and the suicide booth is full again.

Great game! As much as I am harsh on Bennett, he played very well today.

Neal needs to hopefully get a goal soon..

That was an excellent game, and they looked FAST. Had the Preds chasing all night.

I don't know if he's been told to do this, but I like that Bennett isn't going out and just trying to hit everything. I think he'll be more effective slowing his overall game down and picking his spots.

Easily my favorite part of the young season.

Twice they immediately rectify two equally ######ed calls. No woe is me attitude from the bench, just laser like focus to make it right on the ice.

If anything those calls are going to be a blessing because early on they've proven to themselves that they can be resilient.
