I feel bad for the kid. I don't particularly like his persona that he's created, but the media attention (and some of it is his own fault) is enormous. It's Tebow all over again.
Maybe Manziel should concern himself more about the team and earn his stripes as a professional quarterback not as a sports celebrity. You don't see Luck and Wilson acting like tools every other day.

I could give a #### about the halftime show, thats the time to piss or make food. I care about Goodell ruining the NFL in pursuit of money, and that's something all NFL fans should care about.
That is fully my bad, completely misinterpreted what you were trying to say.

I completely agree. I just think the media is insane.

Maybe Connor Shaw is the QB the Browns have been looking for? Should at least keep Shaw over Grossman.

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/inde..._browns_w.html

Shaw, coming off the bench in the fourth quarter to replace Johnny Manziel, completed 8-of-9 attempts (88%) for 123 yards, with a 45-yard Hail Mary pass to tight end Emmanuel Ogbuehi as time expired in the 24-23 Browns loss. He earned a 155.8 rating, which blew the other two quarterbacks out of the water. Brian Hoyer completed 2-of-6 attempts for 16 yards and earned a 42.4 rating, and Johnny Manziel completed 7-of-16 attempts for 65 yards and a TD for a 76.3 rating.

Shaw, . . . beat Manziel in all of the drills at the NFL Scouting Combine. He ran the 40 in 4.66 to Manziel's 4.68, he measured 34.0 in the vertical leap to Manziel's 31.5 and recorded a 116.0 broad jump to Manziel's 113.0.

That is pretty crazy.

27-5 record as a starter. Best touchdown to interception ratio in the NCAA in his final season (24-1).

Never put up huge yardage numbers though because they kept his attempts pretty low.

I want to get into the NFL more this season.

I really like JJ Watt, so I figure I'll be a Texans fan from now on. Is this a terrible decision?

Another concussion for Welker, may be time to hang them up. Early blow for the Broncos.

I've been a diehard Texans fan for much of their existence. Part of the reason I started to cheer for them was that I was blown away by Andre Johnson so liking Watt is as good a reason as any.

Watt/Clowney should be a ton of fun to watch together.

Tebow but immensely more talented... And that's coming from a guy who isn't a Johnny Football fan. I even referred to him as Johnny Tebow to annoy all my aggie friends when he was tearing up the NCAA. I think is career will be way better than Tebow's.

Well he hasn't played a single regular season snap yet so I guess it could be.

According to ESPN, St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is out for the season after he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in Saturday's pre-season game against the Cleveland Browns.

Wow ... how long before they just cut their losses? The guaranteed money has almost already been paid. They have 3.6 million next year of signing bonus left (assuming he's already been paid this year's)

Bengals @ Cardinals is on nbc if anyone is interested.

Palmer just threw and interception. His passing has been terrible so far. I don't like him as a qb

Just horrible news for Sam Bradford. Great kid and he hasn't had very good luck since he went down with that shoulder injury at OU.

I see the Rams trading for Mark Sanchez. Flawed as he is he did QB a great Jets defense to back to back AFC title ganes. NFC is much more difficult but he knows the Rams offense (same OC as his when he was with the Jets) and he certainly is at least as good as Shaun Hill.
