Ya sorry, forgot to mention they have very limited number of stores in Canada. I order quite a bit off their website and it usually arrives very quickly, usually within a few days of ordering.

My son says the ONLY way to kill a Zombie is to cut off it's arm and beat it to death with it.

So apparently, as Mrs Rathji has informed me, there is no such thing as zombies.

I don't really buy into her mumbo jumbo though. I wonder if she might be a zombie...

An axe is easy though... If something does happen and all power/heat is out you're gonna need firewood.

I'm not really sold on zombies either. But that thing looks like its handy as heck!

5. No attachments
...
21. Avoid strip clubs
...
32. Enjoy the little things

Calgary is cold. Any zombies will be frozen stiff till the next chinook. So you have some time to prep. Remember - guns make noise. Chainsaws make noise. Cars make noise. Zombies are attracted to noise. Stay silent, stay alive.

Crossbow is nice and quiet - just remember to recover your bolts after a kill. And try to stay concealed - reloading while the undead advance is going to be more stressful than it seems. I hope you're a good shot too, and even if you are, keep a backup weapon. Remember - a katana never runs out of ammo!

Secondly, the environment is your friend. Use it to your advantage. The Z isn't agile and well balanced. So if you have some hockey experience, you're easily more than a match. Grab a decent stick, and start Todd Bertuzzing the walkers when they set foot onto your Canadian heritage.

Actually, Marty McSorling would probably be better. Less chance of being pulled down. One bite is all it takes. If the worst happens, do humanity a favor and take yourself out. We've got enough problems with the walking dead without you adding to their number. If it's your buddy, do it for him as you'd want him to do you. Without a lot of questions and BS. The faster the better to stop the spread.

Don't ever forget though - spring is coming. When it does, dig a hole. Stand on the other side of the hole from the walking dead, and let them fall in. Eventually, they'll start crushing each other with their own weight. When the hole gets full, fill it in and dig a new hole.

And hope for an early frost next year...

Wow. You just went full nerd right there Flashpoint and it was awesome!

Any suggestions for someone who lives in a temperate rainforest until I head south to a desert climate? Those are great suggestions for someone who lives in the prairies, but doesn't help us west coasters too much.
