Avoid mob mentality after today guys. Try and hash out a true target. Having differing opinions will not necessarily make you look like a mafia if you can back up your reasoning. Otherwise it is easy for the two mafias to push our hands

I stick by my original list though.

After seeing the posts I am going to cast my vote
Vote: Transplant99
he just seems to be piling on without providing much of value in his posts
Is this your pre-death post? or are you planning on making another?

I am not against this idea, except right now the Town doesn't have that much information to go on for another lynch.

Lynching Mafia and being able to draw some information from their actions and the actions of others in relation to them would give us much more info than yet another dead townie.

The only way this vote shifts off a hammer is if someone comes forth with another idea based on evidence. I have no idea right now, and as my initial gut instinct ended up being totally wrong, I am hesitant to jump in and make flimsy claims.

Yeah, realistically today is over, and since we'll get more information with the cardflips, I'm not sure a bunch of speculation makes much sense.

I do think GGGs post about the vig discussion is interesting, and think it might be worth follow up. He provided a short list of suspects, which may be worth a bit of research.

A couple thoughts on starseed.

When ineedanother declared, starseed rushed to his defense ravenously to the point that I was extremely suspicious of it. He was so over the top in his devotion to follow ineedanother in voting that it was a major contributing factor in increasing my resilience to force ineedanother's hand.

Also, starseed was doing this while seeming to support ineedanother's lead, when it occurs to me that he could have been showing that support because there wasn't anyone that he cared about in the line of fire. This kills 2 birds with one stone as it helps establish him as a rabid townie, while protecting people by directing attention away.

Third, 2 of the targets that he was in support of killing were Townies (GP_Matt and myself). Not many will believe that at this point, but for me it is solid knowledge, of course.

I don't know if this means anything, but it was something I noticed in the wake of the vig reveal, so thought I would post it in case I end up getting wacked. Although, with all the people painting lukewarm tarkets on my back, I wouldn't be suprised if the Mafia left me alone, hoping for a friendly fire kill

I still view the agulati "slip up" as more than an accident. First, here is the post that started it.

Let our "mod" also get his hands red. :P
Then his explaination is brain fart.

That is why I ended up using “(real time)night” kill instead of lynch in the next sentence. A mistake on my part.
On Day 1, prior to people voting off hmmhmmcamo, I had a post saying I have to go through the entire history prior to casting my vote. If I was mafia, at that time I could have easily made a post stating I completely agree and also vote him out, and been one of the crowd. I wanted to ensure that we were going in the right direction with our vote.

I was not keen with ineedanother using his vigilante kill on that day as well. If I was mafia I would have wanted him to use his vigilante kill since it would most probably waste it since the probability is quite low of using it correctly on day 1. I wanted him to hold up on it, to get a clearer picture of who could be the suspicious crowd.
Now his elaboration does not make sense. In his original post he clearly says that we should only lynch transplant, we should not waste a night kill on him. Then he tries to explain that by night kill he meant a lynch at night, except why would he say we should only lynch transplant, we should not was a night kill (lynch at night?) on him. What is the difference between lynching during the day vs. night? Doesn't make sense.

Then he tries to explain again, saying that he tries to minimize repeating words and that night kill is just a lynch at "real time" night. Ok? So again, he is saying we should just "real time" day lynch transplant, we should not waste a "real time" night lynch on him. What??

His explainations make no sense. Seriously, how can he not be mafia? If he flips town I will be 100% surprised, simply for the fact that his explainations make 0 sense.

Don't waste a "real time" night lynch on Transplant, only "real time" day lynch him. It makes no sense.

I almost now expect agulati to be townsperson just because that's how this whole game has been from the start.

It's impossible to not vote agulati based on the evidence.

I would love to read the private mafia threads right now!

for now, agulati tops my list of suspects ... might have been an honest mistake for all we know, but "wasting a night kill" just next to "lynch"? IMO that rings all kinds of alarm bells. Plus I still have transplant99 high on my list. Originally I voted for him purely for inactivity and unvoted after he checked in, but his posts leading up to the end of day 1 still seem a bit fishy to me. Generally I have been amazed with the inactive players ... call them out and surprise surprise - suddenly they're here. Just something that we have to remember IMO.
Yeah, transplant99's contributions seem to mainly be a diatribe about how he can't contribute more. IMO, he's either mafia trying to lay low, or truly doesn't have time for the game, in which case we're not losing much as the town to lynch him.

thats my stance as well, pretty much top of my list other than agulati. Can't lose type of vote

Here's a question though. If we lynch agulati and he turns up mafia, then what do you do about transplant since agulati was talking about not wasting a night kill on him. Do that make transplant a townie? Or is he part of the other mafia group?

Going back to yesterday about HD's list of people he was suspicious of naming me... Sorry, I read your post but haven't had time to fully go back and look at it again until now. I couldn't help but be suspicious of you based on your interactions with Delgar in day 1, and yes, I voiced that suspicion. It just seemed to stand out as being strange that you were so confrontational, but I do see how you could make the guess that Delgar was scum when he wouldn't accept your bet. Maybe I was zeroing in on the confrontation part between the two of you... But Delgar did post later on that he was in Edmonton (is no good) for the weekend and wouldn't have access to post much.

I suppose that the odds would point to him being a townie since the other mafia group would only have 4 people in it... But his posting style and inactivity still make me suspect him as being mafia. I agree with Rathji that tranny would be a no lose situation based on his activity.

Any flips or new info would obviously factor in, between now and then there will be 3 flips (or 2 works), so that's a lot of info to go on.

The fact that the mafia is split means that we need to take any accusations from a known mafia member with a grain of salt, because the reality is they are working with only slightly more information than the town is in that respect. In fact, you need to remember that they want the opposition mafia dead as well, eventually. I do think they would want to wait until the numbers are a bit more mafia biased before they started specifically targeting them though.

Yeah, new info from flips is the main reason not to get too commited to something without all the information we'll have when we have to make our next lynch decision.

I guess my explanation had not been clear enough.

I had meant that we should let Mazrim weigh in. We should not waste a lynch if he would be mod-killed like Sliver was last game due to inactivity. Only lynch him if Mazrim will not mod-kill him. When I re-emphasized lynching I wrongly using night kill as a synonym for lynch. The reasoning behind that was my perception was that most lynches in the ended CP Mafia 1 game ended up happening during the real time night since that is when people got back from work. I had meant lynch when I had used night kill.

That point is moot though since I'll be lynched tonight

In any case both the mafias will be excited since they will survive untouched for another day due to my slip up.

True enough. I made that mistake with the original post. But that is what I had meant. Only later I remembered he had been replaced. Too much goes on with this game.

Sliver wasn't modkilled, he was replaced. A modkill would end the day, am replacement wouldn't.

Also don't play the "real time" card ... I live in Europe, your real night is my real day
