And continuing to frame it that way is just dishonest. There's also a bunch of people that aren't paying taxes and breaking the laws of a foreign nation. No matter how you try to frame it.

how do you reconcile all the falsehoods and completely contradictory positions he takes on all sorts of issues?
|
I didn't label anyone as such. If I squat in a rooming house but I pay the amount the rent would of been anyways I'm still breaking the law. I didn't give the landlord the choice. There is legal means to entering a country I don't understand why that's a hard thing to want to be upheld.
Edit- I'd also like to add that I'd bet on almost every other issue Trump and his supporters take I'd be agreeing with you on. I'm far from a Conservative. I voted for Trudeau. And as such it's attitudes like the one you take that upsets me because asking an honest question turned into a totally reframed return question from you and some sort of jab about reconciling with myself and positions that Trump takes as if my opinion on one issue makes me identical on others. It's your attitude that gives Trump supporters the "justifications" they feel when he enacts all these other stupid policies. Way to explain your point to me and show me wrong bud!

Bannon gets removed from NSC

Nuclear option exercised in Senate

I've got plenty to say of substance. What else is it? The media and a large amount of anti-Trump people tried to frame it like he said it about all immigrants. We are talking something being illegal. It's funny how the same people seem to support illegal immigration but cry foul over Trumps taxes.

The question is how do you uphold it? Actions have consequences, often unintended ones.
If the vacancy rate is 30% sure you might not be happy that a squatter is living in some your rentals paying rent, but if kicking them out suddenly meant you'd be taking a big loss monthly you probably should think twice about doing it. Or if the squatters all had a much lower rate of being late on rent and damaging your properties. Might not want to evict the squatter just because they let you know their neighbour was planning to trash their place, saving you money. Etc...
They may be there illegally, but they're still people and deserve to be treated like people, it's not like they're committing a violent crime. They certainly don't deserve to be used as rhetoric to whip voters into a fear induced frenzy.

Oh well, guess they shouldn't have been involved in disgusting chemical attacks on civilians and children. I saw a photo on twitter a day or so ago. It is gut-wrenching. Hop onto old Google and click images of the Syria chemical attacks. It is the pic of the various children in the back of what looks like a truck, in the bed of the truck. It has to be one of the most shocking and horrible photos I have ever seen (not exaggerating).
I can see why Trump did what he did today, and I can see why other nations would support the attack of that base. It doesn't seem like it's a total declaration of war though. If Russia had people involved they were obviously warned, and quite frankly #### them if they were involved in the chemical attack anyway.
That kind of attack is in no way humanity. You can call Trump a lot of names and think of him what you will, and certainly I think he's just as brutal as all of you. But the fact is he got this one right.
Then people criticize him for changing his mind. History is filled with people that change their minds about a given situation. In fact usually people find that to be a good quality rather than a stubborn hard-line supporter that can't be swayed. I mean hell if he's the type of guy that changes his mind, maybe there's a variety of other topics he's willing to change his mind for for the better (like building a wall?).

I didn't say there wasn't - That's why I used the word "plenty" instead of "all"... Trump is the one that talks in absolutes...
there's a lot of americans that don't pay taxes either...
The rationale that all illegals are a burden on the system is much of a falsehood as 'they are stealing our jobs'...
right, like americans are falling over backwards to that those menial service jobs...
That's equally dishonest

I mean if you're desperate to call out Trump for this decision it should be the hypocrisy of his foreign travel ban targeting Syrians treating them all like terrorists and yet justifying this attack in protection of innocent Syrians...
regardless, still the right call.

So you get defensive about me applying a generalization and then you turn around and do it.
How do you know what people who aren't working and are capable won't do? Seems like a pretty big blanket statement. I hear some former coal miners are looking for work.
Those citizens that don't pay taxes go to jail when they are caught. So because some citizens decide to illegally not pay taxes, they should allow a bunch of foreign people into the Country to work illegally and not pay taxes. Great logic.

Really? How come you only call out one side of the aisle? I don't see you call out any of the posters that criticise Trump, his supporters or conservatives in general.

Because that's where I came in on the discussion, and it was directed to all sides, as I said.

Watching the CNN pundits on this, they actually make some really good points. Asking questions about what are the political and strategic implications of this attack. It's really interesting. For example Zakaria just indicated that the USA just effectively acted as ISIS's air force by attacking Assad like this.
What type of message is the USA trying to send with this, given it's just a limited attack? Trump didn't indicate much in his speech to define what the implications are. It was more of a retaliation out of outrage, which is understandable, but there are regional implications here too.

Some do, some don't. Some get elected to public office.

You don't know what you are talking about. A lot of illegal immigrants pay taxes. Those that use SSN to get work have taxes taken just like any other person.
