What's that Metabolic Drive stuff? Is it just upscale protein powder? Is there a significant benefit to it over regular protein powder?

For Lunch I am usually too lazy to make food so I either go to Edo or Mcdonalds or Wendy's... pretty much any fast food that is close by. Mind you, I go healthy when I'm at Wendy's and get my side as a caesar salad.

For Dinner, I might occasionally cook and make spaghetti or I'll eat a pizza pop or I'll do the norm and eat 1) KFC, 2) Mcdonalds 3) Pizza.

At about 12 I get hungry and eat those instant noodle things you can get at Superstore or if I haven't had my Pizza pop, I'll eat that.

Now this is about 100x healthier than when I lived in residence. So yes, I consider myself a health nut.... kind of. When you're in University, this is about as healthy as it goes
This perfectly describes my diet. Any idea how long I'll live?

So today I decided to try it again, with more salsa, some pepper, and just eat it slow with less tuna... same result.. I can't stomach it.

So I need a viable replacement for my lunch, I need something with 40g of Protein, 500 or less calories... it can be anything basically that doesn't have mayo or tuna.. I have access to a fridge and microwave here at work as well. I was thinking something along a wrap.. but I am already eating chicken twice that day.

The other option is canned Salmon instead, I am going to try that today..

As a reminder here is my meal plan we worked out:

Meal 1: 4 eggs, 1 grape fruit

Meal 2: Garden Salad plain with pieces of chicken breast + apple

Meal 3: Mexi Tuna ( no longer works) + banana

Meal 4: Yogurt + Almonds + apple

Meal 5: Salmon fillet + whole grain rice/pasta side dish, optional brocolli, brussle sproats greens

Meal 6: Chicken Breast with lettuce
What about protein powder?

You're getting solid food the rest of the day. A protein shake will help you get that other protein as well. You can even mix in the banana.

Do you have access to a blender?

Quote:
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup spinach
1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
½ cup low-fat milk
¼ cup cashews
2 scoops strawberry Metabolic Drive

Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend on high till smooth and creamy.

And yeah, I know what you're thinking. "Spinach in a protein shake? Are you freaking kidding me?"

I felt the same way till I tried it. Trust me.
From Nate Green.

There are various other smoothie type shakes you could make. Maybe mix it up at home and put it into the fridge at work till you want it.

Or you could just mix the protein shake together and drink it when that meal time comes.

If you want to make shakes at home, the Magic Bullet is awesome! Here's the one I make:

1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 cup vanilla 0 fat yogurt
1/2 cup soy milk
1 scoop chocolate whey protien powder
a splash of juice

That is the base that I always have and sometimes I'll randomly add other things such as a tablespoon of all natural peanut butter, or a little bit of honey, or a banana, maybe a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. Depends on my mood and what's in the fridge or cupboard.
